CHICAGO (AP) - Democrat Barack Obama got annoyed with the media Friday as he tried to walk down a Chicago street with his 7-year-old daughter, Sasha, who was dressed up in a shiny costume for Halloween.
A pool of national photographers, reporters and a video crew traveling with Obama quickly covered the spontaneous moment.
"All right guys, that's enough," said Obama, wearing a casual outfit and sunglasses in the early evening.

And isn't it interesting that the media actually obeyed what Obama barked out? Talk about being whipped by the marxist one! Do you really think they'll cover him with an objective eye if he wins the WH? Obviously they won't and will cover for him.

Yeah, just casually walking down the street with his daughter on Halloween, with a team of reporters, TV crews with lights, and dozens of Secret Service agents. “Please, leave us alone, so we can Trick-or-treat in peace.” Yeah, right.
Bet this is the first time Obama has taken the kid out for Halkloween. In fact, I bet she’s NEVER been out for halloween.

Obama then crossed the street with Sasha. At least one video cameraman who was not part of Obama's traveling press corps followed him for a while. Obama grew visibly irritated.Well, my goodness national press corps, shirley you didn't expect him to address y'all without his trusty teleprompter.He and his daughter then began jogging, and even running, to get away from the media.

He just saw today’s latest round of polling, he’s tanking, he’s in a bloody awful mood, and he really does not want to be there.
Pretty cynical view but I’m betting on B & M scared to death of the candid comments the kids might utter, hence their invisibility. Also note that Sarah was thrust into this rather quickly while Barry has been planning this for years. I think it is great that Sarah brings them along to experience history in the making.
Course that same press will be wanting to see the receipts of the Palin’s costumes.

The Palin Family is a team - you can see it in the way they relate to one another. They travel as a pack and there is a powerful bond there.
The poor Obama girls, while I am sure they are loved as much as their parents are capable of that emotion, don't radiate that bond with their parents. There is something sad about those little girls, like they love their parents dearly but they are not a close family like the Palins.
I don't believe Sarah is "using" her kids - I think they are so much a part of her and Todd that it is inconceivable to her to not have them at her side.

Since I’m more of a routine, law and order type parent, I would prefer my kids to have small doses of the campaign and be living their normal lives at home. These kids only have one childhood. But then again, I’m more of a hearth and home type of gal and I suspect I value education a bit more than Palin. Her kids don’t seem destined for higher education, at this point. Maybe Piper will be the exception. She’s got a lot of spunk.

I really don’t see that at all. I’m a mom of six, and I can recognize a close family when I see one. While I get your point about the Obamas - afterall, he’s gone a lot - I see the Palin kids as being a bit out of control.
All the bus needs to do is roll a few feet forward and he can take out a few more people who get him testy. Or the next batch to cross him he’ll literally have thrown off the plane - at 5200 feet.

First the kid went to William Ayer’s house to trick or treat, and Ayers put a little bomb in her bag. Then she went to Louis Farrakhan’s house and Louis put a dead Jew in her bag. Then she went over to Khalidi’s house and he had her change her trick or treat outfit into a bhurka, and then put some PLO terrorist literature into her bag. When she got home, Michelle looked in her goody bag and praised her for what a wonderful Halloween haul she had made. A good Halloween night in the collective, er, hood.
