Hmmmm.... I wonder where Obama’s gifts went in ‘05 and ‘06? Ayers projects or Acorn, etc.?

“There are many here who explain why the wealthy want socialism. In a nutshell it stops competition and creates a ruling authority. The rich will be that authority.”

Absolutely correct. I have talked to many successful small businessmen in the last couple years who say that this country has drifted so far toward socialism, and things are now so tilted against a small operation becoming successful, that they do not see how they could start off their businesses today and “make it”. It was easier in the ‘80’s and even in the ‘70’s.

Meanwhile, the Chinese have gone capitalistic, for the most part, and are running rings around us. Sure, I would not want to live in that pollution, but, at the rate they are going, in a generation they will have the money to fix it better than we can fix ours. IF their own corruption problems don’t stymie their gains, that is.

I’d love to hear McCain & Palin ask Obama tomorrow, at each stop: “How do your policies differ from socialism?”

Or: “In the 1992 election, Bill Clinton promised tax cuts for most people. That never happened, and instead, he INCREASED taxes. Why should we believe your promises more than his?”

Or: “Your social and economic policies are generally similar to those of Gov. Blagojevich, in Illinois. Please explain the “success” of Illinois, economically, under Gov. Blagojevich. (For anyone who doesn’t know, Illinois’ State finances and the IL economy in general, under Blago, were tanking long before the present financial sector problems.)”

Ok, Senator Obama... Provided you actually make the tax cuts you describe, I would be financially “better off” to vote for you than Senator McCain, as I do not see myself making over an “average” income anytime soon. However, I am voting for Senator McCain because I believe his economic and tax plans are better for the USA, and better for the general population, in the long run.

NOW call me selfish, you snotty elitest.

Thanks for that honest answer. We have a good Governor in TN who happens to be a democrat. He revamped our socialist health care and has 700 million that he socked away. No way a Republican could have done it just based on the attacks.

Why democrats of decent learning are so deft is beyond me. Party over Country is no way to go through life.

Speaking to a reporter with the London Times, outside her home, Zeituni Onyango, 56, confirmed she was indeed the “Auntie Zeituni” so affectionately described in Obama’s best-selling memoir, “Dreams From My Father.”

In the memoir, Obama wrote: “If Jane or Zeituni ever felt ill, if their companies ever closed or laid them off, there was no government safety net. There was only family, next of kin, people burdened by similar hardship. Now I was family, I reminded myself. Now I had responsibilities.”

Well, it’s becoming more apparent what his true motives are...

Scary...truly scary...

This arrogant son of a bitch flies around in his campaign plane, sitting on his custom leather throne with his logo embossed on it, like an emperor, while his brother lives in a hut outside Nairobi on a dollar a month. His aunt lives in a Boston slum. He and his wife don't even give gifts to their own children at Christmas or birthdays.

He calls other Americans selfish?
