Second news story confirms Obama and Ayers at Rashid Khalidi tribute dinner and a commemorative book signed by the guests

It’s a f***ing disgrace - this is driving me nuts.
the little -known one?
It was pretty much already established that Ayers was at this dinner. And that Obama was up there with him.
The controversy is whether Obama was APPLAUDING the antisemitic statements.

TOWNHALL.com: "EGO AND MOUTH" by Thomas Sowell (COLUMN SNIPPET: "The kind of self-righteous self-confidence that has become Obama's trademark is usually found in sophomores in Ivy League colleges-- very bright and articulate students, utterly untempered by experience in real world. The signs of Barack Obama's self-centered immaturity are painfully obvious, though ignored by true believers who have poured their hopes into him, and by the media who just want the symbolism and the ideology that Obama represents.") (October 31, 2008)

I guess a week or two from now we’ll know the answer to that one. Thanks for the post.
I can only imagine what the wall-to-wall coverage would be like had this been McCain at this dinner. Or for that matter, ANY Republican!
A profound lessons is being taught in this election: Ayers and his fellow ‘60s domestic terrorists should have been locked up for the crimes they committed back in the day.
Half the left-tards in this country were blowing things up and plotting revolution at one point. Sane people choose to let them get away with it. How much will we pay for being tolerant and decent people? Everything?
They all should have got the electric chair. One Molotov cocktail should be enough to be punished with death on the first offense, every time.

For “just a guy in my neighborhood”, Ayers sure seems to turn up together with Obama an awful lot. More than some married couples.
I think one can also look at this in the same light as Obama being in the congregation at Trinity.
He knew the players, he knew the line-up and he knew what they were going to be pitching. He didn’t think he was going to an ice cream social or a fish fry.
He knew, and whether he applauded or not, he was there. He was one of them and was counted among them. He had no idea a Marxist idiot such as himself would be in a position to be the POTUS then.
One does not have to applaud to approve. I would think the reason the tape is being held back is not about what he applauded, but rather, what he said when he spoke. He is a narcissist and it is all about him and I can not imagine that he would allow himself to be outdone by any of the rest of the vermin who spoke that night.
Yes, the bottom line is he was/is palling around with terrorists and is determined to bring their ideals and way of life to the United States of America and her citizens.
I respectfully disagree. In 2000, George W. Bush merely made a speech at Bob Jones Univ. in Greenville, SC. The Democrats went NUTS because at that time, BJU had a policy that forbade interracial dating between students. The Dems tried to make the case that by his very presence, GWB approved of and supported that policy.
I believe that it is time that we started holding these folks to the same "standards" that they hold others to.
they were traitors to the United States during the Vietnam War and publicly declared war on the united state. they should have been tried and executed. The claim was that there was a bungle of the prosecution. This was during the era of post-vietnam “forgetfulness” that let Jane Fonda and other enemies of the state also go without prosecution beacause they wanted these skeletons just to go remain hidden in a closet and never again discussed in polite company.
They are Stalinists. they have no standards. They shout for power and will cover up any of their own transgressions. George Orwell saw it in his day and it turned him off of socialism. He wrote Animal Farm and 1984 as a result.
Bill Ayers had sex with a male member of the Weather Underground. His girlfriend died in the apartment explosion. He ended up marrying another woman from the Underground. They were swingers. They wanted to smash the institution of marriage.
Who’s to say that barry “O” wasn’t put in a compromising position. There was antoher gay communist that he sat on’s knee and then the lingering Larry Sinclair allegation.
“.....Sane people choose to let them get away with it....”
Ciao Mad_as_heck,
Bad enough, but the same sane people then allowed them to become educators. They regaled them with millions and millions to teach CHILDREN. That’s the real rub.
Amnesties one might understand in certain circumstances, but amnesty+social respectability+monetary reward... THAT to me is insanity. Add the unrepentance of Ayers and Signora, and then we really have insanity.
Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Odinga, Acorn, Rezko, Khahlidi... When is it that even the Happy Jack Kumbuyahs of the world start thinking?
If you think about it - this is really the last election that the counter-culture/60’s radicals can hold onto their power. If we choose to let them.
That’s why I’m voting for McCain/Palin...it’s time for those who grew up under the Reagan years to step up and lead the nation.
Didn’t Reagan in 1980 start to surge the Thursday before the election?
We are rich, fat, and self-satisfied. Most people in this country can't even imagine real hardship. We think the world is one big season of American Idol or Girls Gone Wild video. Soon the people will be finding out what hunger, cold, hopelessness, fear, and want really feel like. Maybe we need a little suffering...
It an outrage. These people are payed with our tax dollars to destroy the lives of our children. If Lee Harvey Oswald had missed he'd be a tenured college professor or a Senator....
I don’t see the story. Where is the proof that Bill Ayers was there? When did this take place as Obama has said that he hasn’t talked with Ayers since when 2004?
It's no one thing, but collectively, these are having a massive impact on the undecided voters and on tradition Dems (yes, many of them white) who are getting scared to death of this guy.
Interestingly enough, Warner Wolf, the sportscaster, who has been on the Obama bandwagon, said that no jewiish person could vote for Obama.
He said it would be like an African American voting for someone with ties to the KKK.
Testimonials. Obama gave a testimonial, meaning he spoke favorably toward Rashid Khalidi from a personal viewpoint.
That's what's on the LAT videotape, and that's why they won't release it. (That ain't news here, but this article is a huge confirmation of it as a fact.)
It also makes clear that Khalidi's wife, Mona, was involved as much as her husband. Obama has had a close relationship with both of them.
"who by the way protested Viet Nam"
"who also said 'Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at.'"
"who dedicated his book to Sirhan Sirhan (the Muslim who killed Bobby Kennedy), but who still has the nerve to vote Dem."
That guy?
Cheers!
Did you click the link and READ the report? The dateline says February 4, 2005.
One paragraph that is especially interesting:
In bringing professor Khalidi to Morningside Heights from the University of Chicago, Columbia also got itself a twofer of Palestinian activism and advocacy. Mr. Khalidi's wife, Mona, who also served in Beirut as chief editor of the English section of the WAFA press agency, was hired as dean of foreign students at Columbia's SIPA, working under Dean Anderson. In Chicago, the Khalidis founded the Arab American Action Network, and Mona Khalidi served as its president. A big farewell dinner was held in their honor by AAAN with a commemorative book filled with testimonials from their friends and political allies. These included the left wing anti-war group Not In My Name, the Electronic Intifada, and the ex-Weatherman domestic terrorists Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. (There were also testimonials from then-state Senator Barack Obama and the mayor of Chicago.)
Connect the dots, nikos. Chicago neighbors, Columbia University -- the same university that invited Ahmedenijad to speak and Obama's Alma Mater -- even with only two dots to connect, you come up with a bundle of lies and tremendous anti-Semitism.
From another article, NY Daily News, September 24, 2007 What can we learn from a monster?
Columbia University dean John Coatsworth is following in footsteps of school's president who threw cocktail party for Nazi official in 1933.The Ivy League ain't what it used to be. Then again, maybe it is - some of its leading lights are still willing to play footsie with Hitler and his murderous heirs.
The admission from a Columbia University official that he'd have der Fuhrer himself over for a chat makes mush of the school's high-minded defense of the invitation to Iranian madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The shocking comment reveals the dopey thinking behind the invitation to Ahmadinejad in the first place.
He said it would be like an African American voting for someone with ties to the KKK.
Warner Wolf is on the Obama bandwagon? Tell me it isn't so! He has always been an independent thinker but, if true, this causes me to lose respect for him. I won't be able to listen to him without remembering his hypocrisy.
HF
Then Obama would be caught in a red lie as he said he hasn’t spoken with Ayers since before 2004.
Did you read what I wrote.
He came out against any jewish person voting for O due to the PLO connection.
It was a little unclear to me because you wrote that Warner Wolf "has been on the Obama bandwagon". Now that I understand the sequence of his statements, it makes sense. Thanks. =o)
Excellent find, Paco!
Thank you for the ping, Senor!
One thing you will find in a search of the Communist parties in the USA is that they originated in Chicago.
They are at the apex of those who want to subvert our Republic.
And, they own the DNC since it’s move to Chicago.
It’s in motion, my FRiend.
But, it won’t be successful.
Thankfully...
“...he’ll prostitute himself to be a successful politician.”
As one who has had no grounding as a youth, and one whose mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, he’s already prostituted himself.
He is a lefty, but has seen the light when it comes to O.
Shame on him in the first place, but at least he’s realized the danger of an O presidency.
How sad that so few voters are viewing all the intricate details we are taking for granted. And only two days to go.
