Americans living in Israel have started to vote. And, one more time, actual voting polls contradict all the polls previously propagated by the MSM.
Voters use accessible voting machines during early voting Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008
76% of polled voters voted for John McCain.
And that while less than one out of four voters is a registered Republican.
This means that 46% of Dems crossed the aisle and voted for McCain.
By contrast, only 2% of registered Republicans voted for Obama.
The MSM repeats that early voting seems to favor Obama : propaganda...
Such results are significant as almost half of the 42,000 U.S citizens registered to vote in Israel originate from key swing states such as Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. They could reflect a strong and unpolled undercurrent. So much for the generally propagated notion of a strong support for Obama among the Jewish vote. Pretty much torpedoed that one!
The exit poll was commissioned by Votefromisrael.org, an independent, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting voter registration and participation amongst American citizens living in Israel.
Puma anyone?
Heres several millions (minimum) of PUMAs, etc..

Take a look around these sites for a half hour or 45 minutes....(there are hundreds more linked to these, just look for links)
this is a VERY SHORT, PARTIAL LIST!!!!
but will those votes count and for what states are those votes for? I doubt they are in important toss up states. I would guess most are probably for NY. But we’ll never know.
I can’t wait to wake up Wednesday morning to read that McCain crushed the MARXIST ONE keeps socialists from occupying the White House. How sweet that would be...
Israel’s very existence is at stake. Those living there know it.
is there a site where you can turn pictures into that format?
What were the polls in Israel saying before the voting?
LMAO!
LLS
photobucket.com
I would wager that the media's coverage of the election is a little more balanced there also, based on the articles I have seen coming out of the UK.
The McCain train has finally reached the top of the hill and is rolling full steam ahead to the finish line. Keep up the faith. We can do this. VOTE!!
It involves a little more than you think... ;)
for later
Encouraging, yes.
But the American-Israeli’s living in Israel are probably not a model of all Democrats in America.
Which is what drives me nuts about liberal American Jews.
A Jew voting for Obama is like pleading with Hitler to keep the noise down at the concentration camps so as not to offend the surrounding community.
And that while less than one out of four voters is a registered Republican.
And this one...
The exit poll was commissioned by Votefromisrael.org, an independent, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting voter registration and participation amongst American citizens living in Israel.
...don't jibe.
Are there any organizations that "promote voter registration and participation" that concentrate on pubbies?
I don't trust 'em! They are probably keeping track of whether the ship carrying the ballots should sink or not. Or if that obscure check box that is getting military ballots disqualified should be considered for this batch too.
Man, I have to say its very, very weird browsing through that list of sites you posted and seeing such focused support for McCain and Palin and such antipathy for Barack Obama and knowing that they are all Democrats.
The closest I can get to describing it is that Barack Obama and the Democratic party generated the anger of a few million ex-wives against him. I get the sense that most of them are women. I didn’t get a sense of what would motivate a male PUMA, what act of betrayal motivated them to jump sides.
I think McCain is lucky in that he is an acceptable candidate to a lot of dems precisely because he is a well known unreliable Republican.
I have a lot of respect for his service but think like a lot of Republicans that he is only marginally better than the rest of the pack that he outlasted. I’m not sure we are going to be happy after election day no matter what happens.
The only bright spot for me is Sarah Palin. I think she needs a 4 year apprenticeship as VP and then she will be on the political scene at the top for a very long time. She will be in a position to focus conservatives and find and develop follow-on conservative candidates for the future.
You would feel that way only if you had not any clue whatsoever of the incredible damage that would have been done to this country if The Marxist and his ilk take over.
>Im not sure we are going to be happy after election day no matter what happens.

Oh, but he’s absolutely right! Consider the Titanic passengers - just picture how peeved they would have been if the captain halved their speed to avoid icebergs and they had arrived in NYC a day late...
You really are a brain dead idiot supreme!
Obama FUBAR as of 11/5/08
Well sitting here Saturday morning, we have less than 100 hours remaining to learn something as to how we stand.
During the 2000 Bush/Gore campaign I was leading prayer meetings in our local church. Many had been holding their breath since 1992, eager to have a righteous president back in the White House. I could not openly take a position on which candidate to favor, but I did learn something.
I learned that in following candidates there is a valid litmus test that seems to work:
1) How the candidate stands on the unborn child?
2) How the candidate stands on the Nation of Israel? and
3) How the candidate stands of the Lord Jesus (Yeshua)!
I came to believe that I needed only to determine these three positions, and the rest of the candidate's views would follow accordingly.
BHO fails on support for the unborn child. And he fails to an extreme on his post-failed abortion position!
BHO fails on support for Israel. There is no way someone that had a heart for Israel would have ever had the associations and alliances he has had! and
BHO really drops the ball with Rev. Wright.
I have many Black Christian friends and know many Pastors of Black churches. The ones who are aware of "Black Liberation Theology" have helped me know, it is not the Gospel of the scriptures, but the gospel of self-determination of those of one skin color.
This is the weekend we endure every four years,
The weekend where we fall back on our faith and hope that G_d will be with us.
The presidential elections do cause our nation to be introspective, so we ask, what did we do, or not do, to get ourselves into this position.
I am glad for the many posts by registered democrats who say that are Americans more than they are Democrats.
Somehow the McCain-Palin slogan of "County First" is ringing Loud and Clear!
I love that term. About a decade back, I had a detail to work with a bunch of techies. Many of them were Linux, Cisco, Internet, Unix crazies and they used terms all the time that had their basis in DOS, C++, Pascal and other computer languages.
One term, of course, they often used was FUBAR.
I knew in the context of it's use basically what it meant, but could not break it down. I hesitated to ask for a translation, and could not find it listed in any of my indexes as a technical term.
Then I saw "Saving Private Ryan" - Mystery solved.
One of the beauties of American History is the legacy bestowed on those that fail the test given each four years on the first Tuesday in November. Add Barack Hussein Obama to the list held by
John F. Kerry,
Albert Gore Jr.
Bob Dole (1996),
George H.W. Bush (1992)
Michael Dukakis
Walter Mondale
Jimmy Carter (1980)
Gerald Ford (1976)
George McGovern
Hubert Humphrey
Barry Goldwater (1964)
Richard Nixon (1960)
Adlai Stevenson
This is the list in my active memory.
SNAFU is another useful descriptive. (circa WWII, I believe)
was agreeing with you, AU... guess you missed the sarcasm....
I knew that one, especially from my Army days, and agree it was truly a WWII term.
I think I grew up hearing my Dad use the term. When I was still young and naive to graphic language, I would have translated the term as meaning, this is all messed up.
Credit Wikipedia with this quote
Electronics engineers say that SNAFU and FUBAR were used before World War II by repairmen sent out to repair phone booths. They had to report the situation at arrival to the scene, often on a very bad line, so they developed these acronyms to make themselves understood.

There are going to be some very annoyed people when McCain wins rather easily.
You chould add the first and second amendments as well (and probably the whole Constitution, come to think of it).
All unhappiness is not equal. I have’t been happy with McCain for a long time. And, I have a pretty good idea of exactly how unhappy I would be depending on which one of them wins.
I’ve kept a running list of things I care about and what Obama has said about them vs. what McCain has said about them. Obama and Biden have been mouthing off about a lot of things for a long time and its a pretty big list. They have bad ideas about everything.
McCain hasn’t had to say a lot except that we’re not going to lose in Iraq and Afghanistan and he will appoint strict constructionist judges. That’s enough. I don’t have to personally like him and at least he won’t be a legislator anymore and won’t sponsoring any more liberty deleting legislation.
So, if McCain wins I’ll be happy enough. I’m not going to be “Ronald Reagan” happy. I’ll have to be content with watching Palin develop the skills she’ll need as President.
**This means that 46% of Dems crossed the aisle and voted for McCain.
By contrast, only 2% of registered Republicans voted for Obama.**
To me, that means a McCain landslide!
