Obama promises change, all right -- radical at its best
Orlando Sentinel ^ | Lynn Forester de Rothschild

When Barack Obama announced that he was running for president, he was clear that, if elected, he planned "not just to hold an office, but to gather with you to transform a nation."

Twenty months after that statement in Springfield, Ill., we have a much clearer view of what he means by "change we can believe in." In a campaign of soaring generalizations on mostly centrist themes, Obama has described the details of the transformation with almost surgical precision. What he offers may be, in substance and in spirit, a radical departure from the principles of the America Dream that have defined our nation during the past two centuries.

In the guise of a "middle-class tax cut," Obama is adding a tax in order to create a new welfare program that will add to the annual $400 billion that we currently spend on our welfare system. According to the Tax Policy Center, each year Obama will take $70 billion from the 2 percent of small businesses and individuals who create more than 16 million jobs and will send checks for almost $100 billion to more than 40 percent, or approximately 60 million Americans, who pay no taxes at all.

This is one of Hillary’s big fundraising ‘bundlers’. Good to see some common sense.

The Orlando Sentinel has “endorsed” Obama for president. So it’s just another useless socialist rag like the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Boston Globe, Newsweek, Time, Pravda, etc.. It’s the same collectivist, leftist tripe that spews out of CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, Al Jazeera, and the Demagogue National Committee.

Everyone should cancel all subscriptions to daily newspapers, and kill the TV. Any news that worth reading can be had online in about 4 minutes per day. Just think of all the trees and electricity this will save for “our children”.

Do you, or anyone, know if we are currently giving child tax credits and other rebates to people who don’t make enough to pay taxes? I heard this a while ago, but can’t find an easy answer on irs.gov

Never mind, finally found it. The earned income tax credit gives a ‘rebate’ to taxpayers who don’t actually pay taxes. WTF?

Let's withhold our judgment against what an Obomba administration and government will be like.

It might be a great adventure to live in an Obamanation and have to suffer. Picking up coals dropped in shipment along railroad tracks, then stuffing it into a gunny sack will make us realize what people in some other communist countries had to go through.

The fear of being attacked by a rogue nation will be non-existent because in a few short years this nation will have nothing of value for anyone to seize.

We'll be able to go to Cuba anytime we wish, but only the Elite Political Commissars will have the money to travel.

Vacations for the poor suckers making under $100,000 will be mere memories.

Think of the fun we'll have, those of us who have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, when we get to share our residences with others.

(Of course if members of the Democrat Peoples Communist Party want to move in, they'll get our master bedroom suites. Hopefully we'll have finished basements we can move into, or that bonus room over the garage will be good enough.

Cars? Ha. TV? No way. We will get to maintain a meager wardrobe, but our leader says to take care of what the state allows us as we won't get frequent shipments from our ally China as we used to.

The thing we can console ourselves with is the knowledge that were not alone. The entire world is now controlled by a 'somewhat' benevolent Communist dictatorship that requires its citizenry to tow the line.

Obama and his minions never wanted “change.” What he wants is acceleration of the Socialistic slippery slope the country has been on for decades.

Obama wants to punish success and reinforce government dependence.

The EITC goes all the way back to Carter. Clinton made it a much bigger deal.

One year, I think it was ‘93 or ‘94, I actually received an EITC check. I wouldn’t have known how to claim it, but I was having my taxes done by an accountant, and he got it for me. Heck, I had never even heard of it at the time. Our income had dropped by a large amount because I had moved to a different State and started up my career as a freelancer.

It’s not the DemocRATic Party. It’s the DemoSocialist Party. Or I suppose National Socialism Party would fit too — it’s the same thing as the Nazi Party in Hitler’s Germany, or the Communist Party in the former USSR. Obama and his fellow travelers would like to recreate the USSR here in the United States, with the “dictatorship of the proletariat” making all decisions for the serfs. All serfs are equal of course —— Equal Slaves of the State.

For a real explanation of what could well be in our future if Obama wins watch this, "Letter to the Editor." This is just about as powerful as the "soldier letter to Obama."
