All right! I am about 10 feet from Sarah's podium in Raleigh! Can't take pictures from my Blackberry but the crowd is huge... Tens of thousands lined up outside. I managed to get VIP access at the last minute for the family and we're going to get a close-up view of our next Vice President! I'll try to post updates as the night goes on.
Any Freepers in the crowd, let me know!

Update... The place is filling up. Whata. Crowd... The anticipation is like ripples billowing out in human excitement from whatever creates attention. Everyone is so excited for Sarah to come out. Got my son in front of me and my stepdaughter behind me... What a moment! My wife and other stepdaughter are right across on the other side. Amazing being here. Flags, signs, people just hungry for the victory.

Yesterday I drove from Denver, NC to Lincolnton, NC to Troutman, NC to Mooresville, NC and back to Denver, NC. Probably 125 miles total, mostly rural area. I saw hundreds of McCain / Palin signs and only one Zero sign. It looks to me like a landslide in NC, but I guess we’ll find out Tuesday.

My sister and her husband are there with 4 of their 6 kids. The second to the youngest, my Goddaughter : ) , has Down Syndrome. I hope they get to be as close to the stage as you are. They are such a wonderful, conservative, religious, pro-life family. If you see them, say “Hi” for me. They'll be the friendly, good looking ones.
