A suburban Detroit woman has decided to scare up the vote among neighborhood children by just offering treats to John McCain supporters.
Shirley Nagel of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., handed out candy Friday only to those who shared her support for the Republican presidential candidate and his running mate Sarah Palin. Others were turned away empty-handed.
TV station WJBK, Fox 2 News says a sign outside Nagel’s house warned: “No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters.”
Nagel calls Democrat Barack Obama “scary.” When asked about children who were turned away empty-handed and crying, she said: “Oh well. Everybody has a choice.”
There were kids as young as 4 years old that went away crying because she wouldn’t give them any candy.
LOL!! In Obama’s world these kids would be DEAD, not just CRYING!

Though we only had a neighbors kid who came as himself. A cute little 1 yr dressed as a rabbit (to cute for words) and a couple of teenagers who probably would said something about obama that I cannot repeat here. Light night

The lady is a classless jerk. These are kids we are talking about. Politics are important but they are not everything. Civility is an important virtue and this woman displayed none. Shame on her. I can’t stand jerks regardless of their political stripes.
I was mean to all the kids last night. I left my front porch light on and didn’t answer the door.
That being said, instead of denying the kids their candy under the Obama doctrine, she should have taken 1/3 of their dole........
She has every right to do this. I like how the news video made SURE to mentino her full name and where she lives for maximum threat potential.
I really like how the fat mom wants her kid to get free candy, even though she clearly posted the sign, and said what she meant. No candy for Obama supporters, their kids, liars or tricksters.
She should have said “No pie for you!”

Don’t even use your candy. Take it out of the bag from the kids standing at your door, walk down to your neighbors, and give it to them.

Are we sure it’s the same Sirley Nagel? Google Maps says that Grosse Pointe and Macomb are 22 miles apart. Could be the same person, I guess. But I want to be certain because I want to throw it in the face of the lib who showed me this article. Thanks.
