Current polling indicates Obama has gained with voters who attend church occasionally and could possibly win the Catholics next week. Kerry, who would have been the second Catholic president, lost Catholics to Methodist George W. Bush by about a million votes, according to exit polls.

Democrats have lost weekly churchgoers of all races by double-digits in every two-man presidential election since 1980, and by increasingly wide margins. Michael Dukakis lost these voters by about 10 percentage points in 1988, while Kerry lagged by more than 20 points in 2004.

Obama is going to lose. He's fared worse with religious voters than John Kerry! Tell me that's a man who's going to win the election.

But Obama offset that religious vote with gains among atheists, sexual deviants, and ‘former terrorists’.

Latest polls show ‘former terrorists’ are breaking for Obama big time.

Obama will gain on nothing but the black vote. Period.

That’s the dirty little secret the media won’t tell ya. His whole candidacy is based on getting out the black vote in record numbers in the urban areas, soldifying the latte liberal base and that’s it.

There is no new demo he is reaching. In fact he’s losing a big chunk of the Union/Reagan Dems.

In the end, depending on the availibility of crack, the pimps and gangabngers in the hood may actually cast their first vote ever, hence his popular vote numbers could be impressive. But he won’t win electoral college.

Great! Thanks. I was worried as earlier Barna poll says, roughly 50/50 Christians vote for McCain, with a little more going for him.

No way. Barna just told us a few days ago Hussein was getting 40+% of the evangelical vote.

Have any of these pollsters bothered to do a demographic on parents with special needs kids?

Nine million U.S. children under 18 years have a special health care need. Nine million kids = 18 million parents.

This can’t be correct because I read yesterday that the church was split evenly and Obama had already been declared the next president. I think that they weren’t even going to let Bush finish his term out, we were going straight to crowning, er, I mean inaugurating the one.
