“OBAMA, PELOSI AND REID, OH MY!”

Please put the word ‘Obama’ on your signs.

Drive-bys and picture takers have no idea what the controversy is about without it.Bingo!

The message has to be VERY clear, and precise.
WHY are we protesting the L.A. Times?
Beacuse they are hiding a videotape that could hurt Obama.
EVERYTHING else is secondary, and dilutes our focus.
ALL of our signs must hammer home THIS message:

RELEASE THE
OBAMA

From hughhewitt.townhall.com:
...Given what the WaPo editors admit — which is that "Listening to Mr. Khalidi can be challenging" even when he's speaking on the record for international distribution — it's not at all hard to imagine that he or his good friends may have said very vile things indeed at this dinner.

And some of them may well be so vile that they actually might deter someone previously inclined to vote for Obama from doing so.

What's on this tape may move tens of thousands of votes in a battleground state like Florida.

A national election might hang in the balance...

Thanks, FloridaBattleGround!

See also, from HillBuzz:

...On the tape the LA Times won’t release, Obama’s seen laughing and cheering as various pro-Palestinians bash Israel and make other anti-Semitic remarks.

Obama has a fantastic time at the event, and makes remarks himself to the effect that Israel has no right to exist and that Israelis are responsible for genocide of Palestinians.

According to all sources that have described it, this is apparently the most disgusting thing anyone has ever seen: a presidential candidate laughing and cheering as people talk about destroying Israel, America’s greatest ally in the Middle East, and the only democracy in a region strategic to US interests.

That’s why the LA Times is refusing to release the tape — because seeing Obama cheer on the destruction of Israel would, obviously, damage his campaign.

And the LA Times does not want to do that.

Get a few drivers to give you moral support by honking you while driving around the block. That works!

Take the transportation, Metro? since hard to park.
I think it’s good idea to have someone speak to LA Times rep., to release at least the transcript! something better than nothing.

Yeah Baby! Get ‘em!

Press Release for our upcoming LAT March on Monday, 11-3-08 will be posted to FreedomMarch.org shortly.

Obama knows that we are here!

We need your help to get the PR distributed. Please do all that you can. Send to big blog editors and columnists, Townhall, Real Clear, radio shows, newspapers, WND, NewsMax, anti-Obama sites, etc. (Stay away from ones obviously friendly to BO.)

We were at the LAT on Friday and are now getting some friendly media support. Fox and Friends had our little party on TV Friday.

It’s crunch time. Let’s win this darned thing.

Thanks a million!

Joe.

EVERYTHING else is secondary, and dilutes our focus.

Our message was apparently NOT as "clear and precise" as it SHOULD have been, at the early stages of our FIRST FReep. :(

As I posted on a PREVIOUS thread:

To: Steve Van Doorn

Put on FOXNews Channel.

The Fox & Friends Show is covering the L.A. Times protest (yesterday), but any sign that is explicitly about “Freeing the Khalidi tape” FOX has blurred the title for.

I could only read 1/20 of the signs and they all said things like “If you don’t report, how can we decide?” and “2008, The Year Journalism Died”, etc.

None of the signs written about freeing the tape were allowed to be read by TV audience.

36 posted on Friday, October 31, 2008 3:12:05 AM by BIOCHEMKY (I love liberty more than I hate war.)
I did not see the cameras from Fox at our FReep, but they could have been there. They might have used some of the early videos posted on YouTube.

In any event, they must have shown footage from the FIRST FReep -- at 10 am, where the signs WERE a little "off target" -- so it might not necessarily be any nefarious editing from FoxNEWS.

We had less press coverage at the SECOND FReep -- at 3 pm, but MANY more "on target" signs.

At least those "new and improved" signs got into the video Jeffers did -- for popmodal.

since hard to park.

EXCELLENT idea, savvyguy!
Parking (and traffic!) is ALWAYS a pain in downtown L.A. -- particularly on a MONDAY morning, at RUSH HOUR!
But, you can park for FREE at one of the Metro "Park and Ride" lots, and take the train to Pershing Square...
...which is just a few short blocks away from the L.A. Times building.

We have many more drivers honk than give us the one finger.

Metro is a good idea for Monday.

They’ll try to arrest us if we attempt to go in. They have zero sense of humor there. Was it something we said?

Marching the Times is soooo much fun, everyone has to come. You’ll regret not being there.

From www.metro.net/riding_metro:
Park and Ride locations are everywhere in LA County.

Many locations provide free parking. Most are adjacent to Metro Rail stations, bus transitways or Metro Rapid service for quick connections to the high speed commuting network. Carpool and Vanpool connections are also easier when freeway-adjacent Park and Ride lots are used.

We deserve to see that Frickin tape. They shafted the country on Edwards, they shafted Hillary, and now they’re trying to do it to us all again!

I’m done with this kind of BS. I’m bringing signs that say,
“This will cost you MILLIONS if not your entire operation.”

Let’s see how they laugh then. The National Enquirer is a more reliable publication.

Their response was predictable, and it’s because they know they can weather this storm.

I don’t want to dissuade anyone from attending this event, but everyone needs to learn how to use leverage:

1. If you have a blog, write about this topic and put the name of someone involved in the title of the post.

2. Urge major bloggers to help in the (as of now failed) campaign to get people to go to BHO’s events and ask him to call for the tape’s release:

This just in, from www.victoriataft.com:
SCHLUSSEL: LA TIMES OBAMA TAPE FEATURES DANCE TROUPE KNOWN TO SIMULATE BEHEADINGS OF AMERICANS

Debbie Schlussel: EXCLUSIVE: Dance Troupe @ Obama-Khalidi Dinner (of Secreted Tape Fame) Simulated Beheadings in Recent PastBy Debbie Schlussel

**** Copyright 2008. Must cite Debbie Schlussel and link to DebbieSchlussel.com ****

As you all know, the Los Angeles Times is holding hostage a tape of Barack Obama at a 2003 Arab American Action Network (AAAN) dinner at which his friends, Rashid Khalidi, William Ayers, and Bernadine Dohrn were in attendance. It's the story I started when Los Angeles Times plagiarist/"reporter" Peter Wallsten ripped off my January column on Barack Obama's Nation of Islam staffers and friendship with AAAN founder Ali Abunimah.

But here's what you haven't yet heard: that a kids' dance troupe that appeared at the event has a history of simulating beheadings and stomping on American, Israeli, and British flags.

sanabelalquds2.jpg
sanabelalqudsswords2.jpg
Sanabel AlQuds Dance Troupe with Sword Beheading Accessories

Reports of the partial guest list at the 2003 dinner include "the Sanabel Debka troupe", but the group's name is really "Sanabel AlQuds Dabka troupe." Sanabel means "grains" or "kernels" (of wheat or barley) in Arabic. AlQuds, or "The Holy", is the Muslim name for Jerusalem, which is ripped-off from the eternal Hebrew name for Jerusalem, "Ir Kadosh", or Holy City.

The Milwaukee-based Muslim kids dancing troupe purports to perform the debka, a Middle-Eastern step-dance. But this group, made up of mostly Palestinian Muslims and under the auspices of the Milwaukee Muslim American Society does far more in its "performance." And it's frightening.

In June 2004, I went undercover and attended a Dearborn fundraising dinner for Islamic Relief, the Muslim Brotherhood charity that is a front for HAMAS and Al-Qaeda. The event was MC'ed by Rayed Tayeh, who orchestrated the Starbucks Coffee boycott and who is believed to be a HAMAS operative.

Sanabel AlQuds performed to songs calling for martyrdom to "get back Palestine." The kids were young boys, some of them appearing to be no older than seven years old.

But they didn't just dance the debkah.

Suddenly the Sanabel AlQuds dancers pulled out fake swords and rifles and adorned three of their troupe respectively with an American, Isreaeli, and British flag. The others pretended to behead and/or shoot the boys wearing the flags. Then they put red scarves over the three boys heads, signifying blood and no head. Then, the flags were taken off, thrown to the ground, and trampled on by this young group of Milwaukee dancers.

This was on the Sunday that U.S. contractor Paul Johnson was found beheaded in Saudi Arabia and not long after Nicholas Berg and several other westerners were found beheaded in Iraq.

Once I saw this "performance" I realized why there were signs all over saying, "No video equipment or cameras allowed."
