If I shake my head anymore, the hair will fall out of the follicles. No one in recent memory – including the masterfully slick William J. Clinton - has been able to suspend all the parameters of human disbelief as much as Senator Government has. The idea that so many people in this country are poised to vote for Barack Obama in three days - and already have in early balloting – despite the constant stream of forbidding propositions and promises that soar from his campaign-weary sliver tongue onto the worshipping throngs, is enough to make me want to return to the golden age of more palatable dregs – like Hillary Clinton speaking “black” in a Harlem church, Roseanne Barr singing the National Anthem, or fingernails on Rosie O’Donnel.
To even ask this question anymore is an exercise in impotence– if not redundancy - but what the hell is Senator Obama talking about? And what country does he think this is?
Recently, “The One” made the following statement:
We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.

You truly cannot make this stuff up.
Let me, for a moment, take what he said at face value.
On one hand, I could see myself agreeing with him. The national security objectives he has set - which involve sitting down unconditionally with despotic leaders and supporters of terrorism, as well as announcing to our enemies a withdrawal date from Iraq that can be marked on Al Qaeda refrigerator calendars everywhere - cannot be achieved using just the military. That’s because national security – to the Obamacrat – involves a host of soul saving, nation-mending measures that complement the run-of-the-mill Obama appeasements we all know and nourish our peptic ulcers with … such as combating domestic economic injustice, ensuring that as many abortions as possible take place in America, providing health care to each and every person within our borders, and banning television news folks who ask tough questions of Democrats from the Obama inner circle (few as they are).
On the other hand … what?!?!?!?
To the Obamacrats, the United States military is an over-funded, grossly misused implement of a terribly flawed war-hungry imperialist nation. What America needs, according to the words of "The One" spoken along the Messianic trail, is an equally authoritative force of civilian stormtroopers that can jackboot their way across the nation enforcing equality and justice while promoting unity.
Talk about fundamental transformation.
How is such a thing to be implemented?
How is such a thing to be paid for?
This would involve either astronomical cutbacks to the military or astronomical increases in spending to achieve a force “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
(Head shaking. Hair falling).
And to the main-stream-media, none of this has even a camel's eye-lash worth of relevance.
So many of the cocktail-party going, inner-circle media types who thrive in the New York-Washington news corridor want to be on the right side of history – the winning side of history. The same goes for some of the conservative punditocracy who have either defected to, or conceded to, the blue team. The "invites" to the hottest shindigs are often too much to resist.
These things matter. They really do.

It seems that many are braindead about this. Like you, I agree that many have been put into place, there has to be some mega-organizing going on. History shows us this is the case in these situations. This is NO DIFFERENT.
What’s irritating to me is the hand-wringing going on among FReepers. Time to get angry but not out of control. Time to keep ears to the ground, eyes open for info about any unusual organizing going on, the info is out there, be observant! Time to get cagy, crafty, sneaky and alert.

is the name of every voting citizen in the United States. There is a bar code with information on it (what information is on the bar code, I don't know) for every voter registered in the United States. The name of the voter appears along with the voter's age, sex, phone number and likely party e.g. SR means SOLID REPUBLICAN, LR means LEANS REPUBLICAN, ND probably means NOT DETERMINED, etc.
I got fed up with the Obomites and their writing on the clip board every time they rang my doorbell, so I ripped the top sheet off and found the information on all of the voters in my family. I'm not comfortable with the fact that they know whether or not we are "strong left," "leans left," "undecided," "leans right," or "solid right."

Over the past year there have been secret meetings convening in our subdivision. The only evidence of these meetings is fifteen to twenty vehicles parked up and down both sides of our small streets, some on other folk’s grass. It’s usually a Wednesday or Thursday night toward the end of the month. It’s not a party, there’s no loud talking, music, or laughter anywhere. In fact there’s no sound at all, and it’s not apparent whose house they are convening in. The vehicles are all different—pickups, sedans, etc, and they almost completely block the street. It is not the homeowner’s association meeting, that is held in a shopping mall down the street on a specific date. So yes, there is surreptitious organizing/meeting occurring, it is just below the level of observation and off most people’s radars. I mentioned this to a neighbor and he just denied even seeing the vehicles and he lives on the affected street.
When you stick your hand in a pile of goo that used to be your best friends face, you'll know what to do about Obama and his civilian national security force.

The US has had Federal law enforcement agencies,but never a national police force.The closest thing to a paramilitary is the Border Patrol,but they have little impact on anyone except smugglers and illegal aliens,because they have limited and very specific duties.
Some free societies have national police,such as France(Gendarmerie)or Italy(Carabinieri),but the US has no such tradition.
Every third world craphole where the citizens are treated like chattel has paramilitary forces answerable only to the national leader.
Obama has designs for this force-probably first to disarm the citizenry.And that is when s””t will pick up as they say.These recycled gangsters will find out quick enough that so many armed citizens have military and/or police experience,or are just good marksmen and hunters.These scumbags will need a lot of replacements when they start making moves.

I don’t have any sympathies in common with Randy Weaver-just illustrating a point.
We are very familiar with parties in our subdivision and can identify them fairly easily. This is no party. It’s a meeting of some sort, religious or political.
