Well, a RINO wants to weigh in as the polls are close, only three days before the election.

Nice to see him going out on a limb.

There’s a certain pattern with Obama. Every few weeks or so a new skeleton pops out of the cupboard.

Disagree goldstategop, this reminds me of Election 2000, to me neither guy has a solid constituency outside of their normal base.

McCain has the edge IMO due to crossover Democrats (PUMA’s and others) and Undecideds braking to McCain.

IMO, we lost every close race in 2006 by about 1%-3%, this time around, McCain wins the close ones via the PUMA’s and Undecideds.

I think Mort had O at a laughable 310, was it?

I thought the beltway boys had already said that the game was over and bambi had already won? There has been a lot of backtracking recently. Just a few weeks ago there were several articles, many from pubbies, discussing why Mac has lost the election.

They are ALL effin blowhards with NO credibility.

Start with all the Bush states and subtract IA. That gives you that 279 figure. Flip NM for NH. Then if you want to add more put in PA and then MN and WI for surprise pickups. That brings one up to 320. Of course if that doesn't happen 279 is something we can all live with but McCain will do better than Bush on both of his tries.

Well, they’ve BOTH got it wrong on Dole here in NC. That “Godless” ad was seen here and you better believe it hit home. Think of all the folks that saw it aren’t really hearing pukes like Kondrake saying it was “over the top”. Which it wasn’t, by the way. Hagan was up north somewhere at a freakin’ fundraiser put on by these Godless folks. Lay down with dogs, you’re going to get fleas!

Anyway, I was surprised to hear Barnes predict McCain. What a RINO schmuck.

Bush 2004 states minus Iowa would be 279.

Barnes an Krondrake were just discussing the post election aftermath about an Obama administration as if the election was over.

Did Mort have a prediction too? The last time I think they had it almost right. They gave Bush 286. But they were wrong about OH, which they said would go to Kerry. Bush would make up the other 20 votes though by taking MN and WI. As McLaughlin would say, “wrong!” But they were close. I sure hope Fred is right this time.

Who the hell cares what Barnes thinks, he’s got his head so far up Washington’s ass he can’t see a thing.

I used to think IA was lost but given the time and energy McCain has put into the state, Western IA will come in again and save the day. The state will stay Red.

I view this as a good sign.
Reminds me of four years ago when Bush was predicted to win.
