Please check out Phsstpok’s EXCELLENT Sunday Talk Show PRE-Thread. It’s a great way to hear analysis on why the DBM picks the guests, what they’ll probably discuss, and other pertinent facts.

Rick Davis should confront Axelrod over gaming the pollsters with the phony CORN registrations and flat out say he’ll be responsible for all the huge disillusionment and any potential riots of Obama’s supporters when McCain wins.

Good morning. Here’s hoping that the election goes well, and our country is still strong a week from today.

Good morning, Alas!

Just a very few days until we learn whether the media truly can decide who wins a presidential election.

I’m thinking not.

Good morning AB and thanks for your efforts again this weekend.

Not sure what I’ll watch this morning, if any of the Sunday shows. I say that but will probably catch FNS because of old habits.

We have early voting in TX (and have had it for several years). I voted on the first day (for Sarah), and stood in line for the first time ever. The local papers and TV stations say that the number who are early voting is the largest ever.

While TX is not in doubt, what are your impressions regarding GOP intensity this year versus 2000 and 2004?

It seems to me that the GOP wants to ignore conservatism - but the dims did not ignore it in ‘06. Many of those who ran and won, ran and won as conservatives, but certainly don’t vote that way.

The media did get to pick the two candidates, so in a way they have decided the election. Do you know any Republican who said that John McCain was their first choice for the nomination?

The matchup with Fred Thompson and Jean Francois Kerry looks like fun! :)

My local paper, The Montgomery Advertiser, has, naturally, endorsed Obama this morning. They are a USA TODAY/Gannet newspaper, so I can't post their sorry rational for it.

This is my state, Alabama, that has some of the HIGHEST numbers for McCain, who leads here 62% to Obama’s 33%. A very conservative state, made up of people who love this country (sends, percentage wise, more of her sons and daughter into the US Military than any other state). But of course, they'll rub our noses in it, by endorsing the Zero. We're all a bunch of dumb, racist rednecks, don't you know.

Thankfully, their subscriptions, sales, and above all advertising is dropping like a flying brick.

I know, Bernard, and they are feeling all-powerful now. I hope we can prove them wrong.
