My wife made me canvas for Obama; here's what I learned (Henpecked worm finds HOPE!)
Christian Science Monitor ^ | 11-3-08 | Jonathan Curley (henpecked worm)

There has been a lot of speculation that Barack Obama might win the election due to his better "ground game" and superior campaign organization.

I had the chance to view that organization up close this month when I canvassed for him. I'm not sure I learned much about his chances, but I learned a lot about myself and about this election.

He’s also involved in the party of death and The Lord has warned His people not to go there. If you do then you’ve opened the door to death of every type in your life...short version of His warning.

Let me make it clear: I'm pretty conservative. I grew up in the suburbs. I voted for George H.W. Bush twice, and his son once. I was disappointed when Bill Clinton won, and disappointed he couldn't run again.

That's right, folks: I'm a brainless dweeb with no principles. And I'm voting for 0bama. Because he promises change. And gives hope. I have no clue regarding change to what, nor hope for what. But that doesn't matter to brainless dweebs.

“My wife made me canvas for 0bama”

Now, seriously, are there that many men out there who let their wives treat them like this?

Are we that screwed as men in this country?

Testosterone has been banned from TV, MSM and Hollyweird movies for the most part, I know. Hairy chests are a gross thing to the wax-a-day, jet-set metro-boys n’ girls, I know. A man with character, integrity and, God-forbid, a uncompromising opinion is something fround upon as rigid, un-PC and generally distatesful in the public square, I know.

But have real men disappeared from the real world?

What’s up?

I’d divorce her

Interesting, I've heard a couple of people call in to the local show here and say that they have lost friends and had severe arguments with family members over disagreements in this election.

So much for the great "uniter"

“I’ve learned that this election is about the heart of America. It’s about the young people who are losing hope and the old people who have been forgotten. It’s about those who have worked all their lives and never fully realized the promise of America,...”

Isn’t this the text of an Obama campaign speech? If you’re young and losing hope, you’re probably a dope addict. If you’re old and feeling forgotten, you were a poor parent and your children hate your guts (or you were an absent father who abandoned his children).

The “promise of America” is equal opportunity for all who will work toward success. That doens’t come from a political messiah. I don’t buy the premise of hard work and lack of success. Sorry, no!

This guy is just another guilt-ridden liberal who wants to make himself feel better by giving away your wealth. What a crock a ****!

You’re close. The Dems will use their majority if they have one and Obama is President to repeal the Bush tax cuts in 2009.

2010 is an election year so they want to do the deed before then and give it enough time for the sheeple to forget.
