Presidential candidate John McCain will visit Grand Junction on Election Day, his campaign announced today.
Details have not been finalized, said McCain's Colorado spokesman, Tom Kise.
McCain's visit follows that of his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who will be on Colorado Springs on Monday.

Woa. CO must me TIGHT!
I think we can win it, and every little bit helps.
must BE tight
off topic but the Obama rally going on now sounds like a requiem, no energy, Obama at one point says we “came close”.
Yes, this is no spin, no way Palin would be there Monday and McCain tuesday if they didn’t see some serious movement there way, they sense that McCain’s presence could be enough to put them over the finish line.
I always though Palin would be a big boost in the Western Mountain region and that is why I never gave up on Colorado.
Don’t worry, my theirs and theres are all over the place, lack of sleep, let’s go Colorado.
In what context was the “we came close” mentioned?
he was talking about how long ago the campaign started and how many miles he’s traveled and so on then “we came close”.Very rueful, he knows.
McCain stopping in CO on the way home to AZ for election night.
McCain lulled him into thinking Wright was off the table and now whammo, Wright 24-7 till Tuesday AM.
Wow...did he immediately correct himself.
Sorry to badger you about this, but it’s interesting he would say that unless he meant something else or it was a slip.
Wow. Can you provide even a little more detail? This sounds like he really knows something, and combined with the McCain campaign guy today who says McCain will win “every red state” plus IA and PA (does that include NM???), I wonder if these guys are seeing the internals that, in my opinion, always lead the nationals.
Dick Morris called it...Wright Ads!

Colorado is the 4th largest coal producing state in the nation. HOW many Coloradans in the coal industry are right now angry about this news? How many of them were planning on voting for Obama? If any coal worker in this nation votes for Obama they deserve to be unemployed!
What a gift! Obama will bankrupt coal industry right when we need a “game changer” in Pennsylvania and Colorado. This will also nail down Ohio and West Virginia for McCain.
I love it, Obama will be taken down by his own arrogance!
Did John McCain, Sarah Palin, and the remaining voting members of both families vote already? Did I miss it when they actually voted, if this is the case?
Considering the poster never replied back with specifics to either of us, my gut tells me they misunderstood what Obama was saying, or he was saying “we came close” in another context.
There is no way Obama would intentionally say anything other than, “WE ARE GOING TO WIN”, two days from the election.
Obviously, the Messiah can't be counted on to do something that noble.
I saw that ad once in florida and I lit right up. They even used the words "GOD D@MN" America in it....no bleeping. I was shocked....it is a great ad....needs to be played more down here in South FLorida.....
Romney: Colorado Can Still Go Republican (Warning - Michelle O on video after Mitt).
"I think we're going to surprise a lot of pollsters," Romney said....."There may be the assessment on the part of some that 'Well we've lost, so why vote?'" he said. "The reality is it looks like we can win this. So the vote is more important than ever."
