It’ll cost him a significant number of votes.
I hope so.
I am starting to think that on Wednesday, with McCain and Palin headed to DC, we will all be asking ourselves “Was Obama ever really that far ahead if at all?”. I remember in 2000 and 2004 the polls tightened in the last couple of days from 8-10 points for Gore and Kerry to real close. It was a sham back then and I think it still is.
Question, folks -
I know who had this tape, and that they sat on it,
but how did it get released? How do we NOW know about it?
“I stopped reading right there. This author is clueless if s/he thinks OH would be an upset win for a Republican.”
I dunno.....Senator Government only has northern Ohio locked up tight. Central Ohio is 50/50...southern Ohio is McCain.
It will be close.
Okay. So?
It was actualy exposed Saturday, picked up steam yesterday and is rolling full blast today.
That’s how an “October Surprise” is supposed to work. Remember the weekend before the 2000 Election; G. W.’s DUI was revealed.
Whistle past the graveyard, troll.
Obama apparently doesn’t think he needs these blue-collar Hillary voters so he can kiss them goodbye.
Is the Chicago Daily Observer a Lib or Conservative newspaper?
Never mind. H.V. Kaltenborn was just on Fox News, and he said that Obama would win once the rural vote came in...
Could also impact CO. Colorado is the nations 7th largest producer of coal and is rich in low-sulfur low-ash clean coal. Coal-fired power plants account for 72% of Colorados electric generation, according to 2007 statistics from the Colorado Mining Association. (HT: redstate).
My Dad lives in PA and is following the election. He just told me that he hasn’t heard about the coal statements. Anybody else with feedback?
I think OH will go for McCain.
I agree with you. Obama never moved to the center. He spent his entire campaign shoring up the Left base. It doesn’t make any sense. What part of the fractured base deserted him?
Hillary Clinton voters. If he had chosen her as his VP, they’d be up double-digits.
Is this story getting a lot of play in the local news in OH and PA? If so it should have some impact. Would have been better though if it had broken a couple of days ago. Now if not enough people find out it could be too late. Though there will be plenty of voters regretting their decision once these policies are in place.
Even if PA is lost, McCain can still win as long as he holds FL, OH, CO, and VA. All of which are doable.
I'd bet money that ranchers will have have to pay a carbon tax for each head of cattle under an Obama regime.
If this isn’t played tonight on the msm fairly widely then that is practically a crime. Is there anything more relevant that his honest thoughts on energy policy? Oh let me guess, these are just negative “attacks” by McCain.
