Fox News has been reporting it since early this morning. Rush played Barry’s clips and talked about his bankrupting the coal industry all show. And it’s been headlining on Drudge all day.

McCain will be on MSM tonight. With the Steelers playing it’s a good chance to give a shout-out to the coal miners.

If he had chosen her as his VP, they’d be up double-digits.

No. The media would be telling us they were up double digits. Kind of like they already are.

Steel worker?

I used to be one of them until November of 74. Got laid off. Was called back in May of 76 but I had already moved on.

I don’t understand why this sound bite isn’t being used by McCain a lot in the closing days. There is clearly the effect it has on coal producing states like Pa, Ohio, and WV, but there is also the subtle message in the term, “we will bankrupt them.” It makes it so patently clear that bankrupting business in the name of his social policies is perfectly acceptable. First it’s the coal companies, then it’s anyone else who doesn’t adhere to his agenda. If there is one thing a government can do very easily, is bankrupt any industry it chooses. It should terrify everyone, particularly union members.

“FOX & Friends” was sure hitting it hard this morning! I guess coal miners are not only bitter gun and religion clingers, but, if they vote for Obama, they will be barely clinging to their jobs! It would certainly benefit them to pay attention to the scuttlebutt at work today. Don't you know SOMEONE on their shift will have heard this this morning?

Thank you, Mr. Kelley, for FINALLY finding the courage to bring this story to the light of day! Hopefully, some of the other media herd will follow your lead.

Anti-gun, anti-coal....I'd think he'd be done in West Virgina as well.

That would depend to a huge extent on who had the tape and what their motivation might have been. Unless we know who had the tape it is impossible to even render an “educated” guess.

I’ve already cut and pasted and e-mailed this to all my friends and asked them to pass it on!

Oh, please!

Coal and steel are UNIONS. They’re irredeemably Leftists.

PA went blue and never looked back. And ACORN has bought Ohio for the Left.

Enough with the fantasy-football politics.

Where ya been? Palin has been over it these past two days. She picked up on it quickly and used it in all her rallies yesterday.

That is extraordinary. Most of the rural folks I know, and have heard of nationally, poll very conservatively. Hope the Obamites aren't counting on it!

Mac used it today in his rally in Ohio. And don’t forget the power of Rush.

“Where ya been? Palin has been over it these past two days.”

I am aware of it. I mean the actual sound bite in a commercial paid for and run on TV. The msm can decide if they want to quote Palin, but an ad gets on whether the MSM likes it or not. Besides, it’s so powerful hearing him say “we’ll bankrupt them.” He sounds like a megalomaniac, which he is.

What a lousy thing to say to someone who sacrificed so much for our country.

Thank you for your service, Sarge!

Look on the bright side. If electricity prices skyrocket that will be the end of the stupid hybrid and electric car market.
