Despite such an historic day at home, it will still be business as usual for the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, which includes Private First Class Track Palin, the 19-year-old son of Republican Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running-mate.

A BCT is huge. It's not like they ID'ed his platoon or company.

Unit was already reported when Gov Palin spoke with them. Anyway, there isn’t enough info here to pinpoint where he is.
No worries. The enemy won’t find him. A Brigade is a thousand (if not more) strong.

A modern BCT (Light) usually has 1500-3200 troops. A BCT (Heavy) usually has 2400-4200 troops.
I’ve been out for a looong time, but my Daughter, 10 years active duty, now Ready Reserves, clued her old man in. :O)

news story. It’s a dangerous breach of confidence.
