FOX & Friends: "McCain pollster claims election will not be decided tonight"
FOX & Friends | 11/04/08 | Me

I was watching Brian Kilmeade of F&F interview David Plouffe of the Obama campaign. Kilmeade told Plouffe that the McCain internal pollster told him that this election is "razor thin" and moving in "McCain's direction," predicting the election "will NOT be over tonight."

Plouffe did not have his per usual snarky, cocky look. He appeared concerned. Anyone see/else hear this?

I would rather my tongue were cut out before I can speak it, and my fingers cut off before I could type it...

At any rate, the "official" announcement will come just before 1:30AM Eastern Time....and it won't be McCain.

What's worse...you knew that before you asked the question.

If it was decided 2 weeks ago, please stay home today. And tell all your friends to do the same. The election isn’t over until the votes are counted, even the dead people who will be voting overwhelmingly for Obama.

Well we may know by 10pm. If McCain takes PA then that is a bellweather that the polls were dead wrong. If He loses Pa badly like by 7-10 then well then it could be a long night.

If McCain wins, and there has not been a single poll across America since Sept. that says he will - and that one had him by +2, then what would that say about the massive level of conspiracy that was at work?

I swear, the reason Obama congratulated McCain yesterday—other than to give him the finger!—was so he could escape giving any concession speech at all. He’ll be battling for his cousin’s kind of power-sharing agreement before he concedes defeat.

looked like he had tears in his eyes

He did look a little peculiar, in a psycho sort of way. I couldn't glean anything about the race from that. Maybe his dog just died or his dad cut him out of the will, who knows?

More's the pity.

Go sit in your room and be quiet for a while.

Plouffe had the look of a man who was just told on the air that his fly is open.

He must have just found out the election today is in the USA, not Venezuela....

I don’t think it’ll be over tonight either. The Dems have attorneys on call everywhere, and this will end up like 2000, with lawsuits and recounts and military ballots unopened.

I did not see the bit on FNC. Yesterday, however, Obama was on the tube. He seemed down and very tired. It could be that he felt bad his grandmother died, it could be he was tired, or it could be he knows he is toast. At any rate, he was unable to portray the confidence he usually does (when he does not have to answer any questions).

I heard Ohio outsourced their vote counting to Venezuela.

I voted! This morning! EMPHATICALLY!!!! For McCain. But he has lost this election. The republicans have lost this election. And can you just imagine the type of candidate the republicans will have to run in 2012 to even be remotely competitive?

It is time to pull back...if they want to take my $$ just so someone who believes they have a "right" to do so, they better try to figure out how they will get blood from a turnip.

If Obama is losing, they won’t wait until tonight to start their catterwalling. The tales of voter intimidation, the legal challenges and anything else that will throw the election into an uproar will start by late morning.

Keep an eye out for that, esp. in the battleground states. Just like the 2000 FL debacle started around noon when it was reported that people wanted to vote for Gore, but voted for Buchanan instead.

The Obama campaign will want to make a stink early to rile up their voters out west.
