FOX & Friends: "McCain pollster claims election will not be decided tonight"
FOX & Friends | 11/04/08 | Me

I was watching Brian Kilmeade of F&F interview David Plouffe of the Obama campaign. Kilmeade told Plouffe that the McCain internal pollster told him that this election is "razor thin" and moving in "McCain's direction," predicting the election "will NOT be over tonight."

Plouffe did not have his per usual snarky, cocky look. He appeared concerned. Anyone see/else hear this?

I saw it a few minutes ago.

Plouffe had the look of a man who was just told on the air that his fly is open.

I didn’t see it, but if McCain wins, the election will definitely not be over tonight. The Dems will begin litigation immediately, and I think the GOP is prepared for this.

It will be over, but Obama and the MSM won’t admit it!

The McCain pollster is absolutely wrong. This election was decided about two weeks ago. Today is just a formality.

More's the pity.

He’s still cocky, he just doesn’t want Obama voters to stay home thinking its a done deal.

Nothing to see there... move on.

Not that confident, I agree. I loved hearing Brian Wilson’s report...he’s been in battleground states at diners and coffee shops chatting with the folks for weeks. Brian—the polls didn’t feel right! The polls were much different than what he was hearing on the ground. Hmmmmmmm.

The election will be so close in a couple of key states and the popular vote may in fact go overwhelmingly to Obama, especially as states like California, Illinois and New York go unusually heavy towards the left(more so than they normally do) that the results will bring rioting to a neighborhood towards you. I have hope McCain can pull it out but I do not have hope that the masses that pull for Obama will understand the system, at all. This election scares me more than any has, especially considering the neighborhood I live in.

I was watching Brian Kilmeade of F&F interview David Plouffe of the Obama campaign.

I saw a piece of it and was shocked at the fluff and softballs that Kilmeade was tossing Plouffe. Something like, "Isn't it amazing that a man who was living in an alley 20 years ago is now on the threshold of the Presidency of the United States of America?" I started yelling at the TV. If it had been Katie Couric, I would have understood a question like that. But, really... Maybe Kilmeade saw Plouffe's poor mental condition and decided to make him feel better.
