I am going to momentarily behave as a liberal, meaning I shall emote as a means of making my point. Please feel free to take this preponderance of cartoonish Obama-coronating polling data that is currently sticking like spackle to every website and headline in all of creation and shove them into a place where even the sunshine wouldnt dare go without bodyguards. Take each end every one of these objective missives about what the first hundred days of an Obama presidency would be like and choke on it like John Belushi chowing down on a chicken bone, doing his best Elizabeth Taylor imitation. Do me a solid and take every electron of conventional wisdom, media adulation, historic cogitation and momentous exaltation all being bestowed on the next King and Savior of the United States, Barack Obama - and toss them head-first onto very hard, angry concrete from the twentieth story of some building somewhere. Dont be defeated. Dont buy into it.
Until I see the actual numbers rolling in, confirming this make-believe, superfluous, candy-land mandate, I am not lifting the cup and will not allow a single drop of Kool-Aid to touch my lips.
Sorry. It just doesnt make sense none of it.
I implore anyone and everyone who may feel even a twinge of disappointment today, being bombarded with tales of victory and fundamental transformation from the Obama-stream-media, thinking perhaps that your vote is pointless, to now man up and get over it. Turn a blind eye and ear to the upchucking media reports of the coming Obama-nation and make your vote count. You know there is a polling booth near you and if you are legally registered get your America-loving tail in there and do the right thing. Discouragement is for liberals and New York Met fans (being a season-ticket holder, I know of what I speak).
Do it.
Your country needs you today.
B. Hussein Obama will lose. McCain/PALIN wins 54-46.
I voted for Sarah!
Excellent!
Enough of the defeatism. To hell with the nay-sayers. Let’s vote! Let’s win this thing.

I just voted a little while ago. I’m off the beaten path in Chester County Pa. The line was unbelievable. I’ve never had to wait in line there before. There were a few obama moonbats there but mostly McCain/Palin voters in a line going out the door.

I’m counting on those who don’t particpate in polls - like me - along with those who quietly go about their everyday lives, away from prying eyes, out of the spotlight - the very people who waited on line with you today - to make the difference.
I think they will.

"There is room for hope. Dont dispair and dont believe the negativity of the MSM polls. Theyre playing psyops on us and want to disillusion us. We can win this folks, but you need to get out and vote for McCain/Palin and you need to get your family, friends and neighbors to vote as well. Lead by example and make suggestions to the undecided. It aint over until the votes are tallied! RV"
Well, I voted in DC...and like all other DC government endeavours..it was cheerfully incompetent. I DID have to show ID to vote, because I was on a list of peope who had to show ID..wonder why, because I was a Republican perhaps? Line was long and the proceedure was laughable.
But something encouraging..as we abused masses were rushed hither and yon, I joked to a fella standing next to me...”Well, we’d better get used to this if a certain candidate wins, because we’ll soon be standing in line for EVERYTHING like this!” It actually got some chuckles. I saw Obama buttons in the polling area, and a media person was chased out from in front of the polling place, but I didn’t see any blatent corruption.
We couldn’t help John S. McCain during the 5 1/2 years he spent being mistreated and yes, even tortured for his LOYALTY and LOVE for the GREATEST COUNTRY IN HUMAN HISTORY!!!!!
Today we honor his service and also the sacrifice of millions like him who are everything good this Country stands for. We will NOT give America to a Terrorist’s friend. AMERICAN PATRIOTS, LET’S ROLL!!!
The OSM! I like it.
Over 80% of people called hang up on pollsters. Who are these people? Who will they vote for?
0bama has had some very bad last minute suprises break: 1. His 'bankrupt coal' speech; 2. His statement about civilian defense force got some play on Fox yesterday; 3. Evidence that the LA Times is sitting on a Rashid Kahlidi tape, even though they haven't released it -- imagination is always worse than reality.
Finally, no one is talking about 0bama's grandmother's passing. What does it mean? Ask yourself what would you do if your grandmother, the one who raised you, passed on. Would you drop everything and go to be with your remaining family at this time. I would. After I heard about the death on Fox News, I immediately thought it would be bad news for Republicans because of the sympathy vote, but I kept seeing 0bama on TV, campagning after his grandmother died! Is he still planning on going to his big party tonite? To many people, that ain't right.
I think the silent majority got up early today. If other places are anything like whats going on here in PA, 0bama and the press are in for a shock.
“I think the silent majority got up early today.”
Odd, I have been praying for the last 3 weeks for the Lord to wake the silent majority and get them to the polls for McCain!!
I’ve heard a numebr of anecdotal stories of family members of friends, who are voting McCain after not voting in many, many elections.
May the Lord wake the others and get them to the polls!!
I’m from the South and we take funerals seriously down here, even Blacks. Especially Blacks. You will be judged harshly on how you ‘do’ your elder’s funeral. You must have the right food, (and enough of it), the right funeral home, the right eulogy, casket, officiant, etc. There are a lot of people watching to see if 0bama will ‘do right’ by his grandmother. Remember the Wellstone funeral?
I can’t even estimate how much cheating the dems are going to get away with, but I do know a slew of people that are all voting McCain. Also, my daughter stopped over last night (she’s 23) and I asked her what the pulse of the whipper-snappers was. Which way are they leaning....she told me she doesn’t know anyone that’s voting 0bama. She and her husband, and all their friends and neighbors were psyched about getting out there and voting today.
I just noticed another media ploy on the “fair and balanced” Fox News Radio break... Make SURE you interview some dim-witted Obama supporter (as if there’s another kind) who prattles on about how great Obama is. Do not play a similar interview with a McCain supporter. End results?
