If there is one word in the English language that can drive a liberal to do crazy things right at this time, you can be sure it is “PALIN.” She pronounces it ‘PAYLYN’.
Liberals are so steamed over that word that they have placed all emphasis on finding ways to destroy anything so labeled. The Internet is currently rife with doctored photos that are less than wholesome, and really, are almost as disgusting as the sleazy scumbags that have authored, or to be truthful, doctored, the pornographic images to make someone think that the result is a “PALIN.”
But no matter what they do, the real McCoy, meaning the real Palin, as in Sarah Palin, Republican appointee as candidate for Vice President, comes shining through all the trash as perhaps the real Messiah in this campaign and delivers the goods.
Each time the delightfully lovely, exceedingly eloquent, bountifully brilliant Governor of the great state of Alaska, Mrs. Sarah Palin takes to the microphones to address the citizens of the United States, she hits a humongous home run, clearing the bases and running up the score in her party’s favor.
She was relatively unknown and unheard of before September 2008, save for her home area in Alaska, a fairly sizeable number of miles distant to the Northwest of the continental United States.
Sarah (I hope she doesn’t mind my familiarity, but I already feel as though I know her well, without ever having met her in person, such is the power and charm of her persona) made her debut on the American political stage in the waning days of August when Senator John McCain introduced her as his choice for a running mate for the offices of President and Vice President.

She is NOT Messiah. She may be a female ‘Reagan’ Republican, but she is NOT Messiah.
I love Sarah, but she knows and I know that there is only one Messiah and it ain’t her.
No offense, I know what you really mean, but calling her God is serious.
Uh... let's not go there. Her appeal is in being down to Earth... not annointed above all men. Only those that worship man (Democrats) would elevate any man to such stature.
I like her to, but would associate her more with John the Baptist.... :>) I don’t like tagging anyone with the “Messiah” title. It’s actually rather creepy.
That said, I voted this morning in my tiny town of south-western Virginia. Hopefully my state goes red! I waited 30 mins in line and normally I walk right in. We only have one high school for the entire county (including those in town limits), so we’re small and I was rather surprised that @ 6:15am there was any line at all, but it stretched around the building 1/2 way. It’s an unusually warm day, really nice.

Sarah would be the first to tell you that she is no Messiah. The good news is that Sarah knows the Messiah. The Messiah is a Friend of hers. (And that, in my book, as well as in the Good Book, counts for a lot.)
Messiah——It’s used in reference to political sense, I didn’t mean it as a religious reference by any means.

That's because that's how it's spelt and pronounced, dummy.
it's not "Pal -in", for it to be "Pal- in" it would have to be spelt "Pallin".
You should consult your dictionary. "Messiah" when capitalized is specific to the deliverer of the Jews recognized as Jesus Christ by Christians. It may be used in a secular sense for a great leader... but then it is not capitalized.
Sarah Palin - Sent by God,
but not “messiah”,
not God in human form.
Sarah is one of the BIG reasons I pulled the lever this mornin’ for the R ticket...but the Messiah??? I’d never make that comparison as I sure she wouldn’t either.
At first, I thought "Palin" might rhyme with "Stalin," and so did many other commentators on TV and radio.
I think the world of Governor Palin. But she is not the Messiah.
