JERUSALEM Sen. Barack Obama told the Palestinian leadership during a trip to the region in July he supports their rights to a capital in eastern Jerusalem, but he asked them to keep his remarks secret, according to a Lebanese newspaper...

FREEP THIS DIGG!
Dividing Israel and especially Jerusalem is directly against the will of the God of Israel. He has warned us in His Word.
Doing such leads to a false “peace” ... then Armageddon.
He will bring the nations to the Valley of Jehoshaphat because of it.
Mark it down. It *will* happen.
Hands off Israel and Jerusalem, o world.
Ignore His Word at your own peril.
Heaven and Earth may pass away, but His Words will not pass away.
Amen! Funny how we are always accused of wanting to bring on Armageddon, when in fact we are always warning the world to stay away from the trip wire that starts Armageddon: JERUSALEM!!!
If the Jews vote 70-30 for Obama as they are expected to do they have no one but themselves to blame. Their treatment of Sarah Palin at the UN rally was reprehensible. I, for one, will no longer support a group of people that refuses, time after time, to vote in their own best interests.
When you sleep with dogs you wake up with fleas
“asked them to keep this secret.”
HA! Yeah, I’m sure he would trust a bunch of foreigners with some ‘top secret plan.’ Makes a whole lot of sense.
People think (I used to think this too) that Armageddon is where the USA and Russia shoot it out with nuclear weapons (that could still happen).
But Biblically, Armageddon occurs when the world, under the leadership of the Antichrist, moves against Israel to wipe her off the face of the Earth (gee that sounds familiar).
The Lord God Returns and slays the nations that are arrayed for battle, having been deceived by the Beast and the False Prophet. The nations will battle each other and then turn to make war with Him Who sits on the horse.
Revelation 19:19 KJV
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Zechariah 14 is the Old Testament event also described in Revelation 19 in the New Testament.
Yeah - like we all didn’t see this coming. A divided Jerusalem, a nuclear Iran, and Russia threatening eastern Europe - should be just dandy don’t you think?
I understand your sentiment, but we dare not stand in judgement of a people who have been so sorely tested by history. And while the majority of American Jews frequently do act against their own self interests, we must concentrate on turning the (growing) minority who are on the right side into a majority.
Libya considering Russian nuclear power plants and Russian naval base. Syria working on naval base with Russia.
All of these events in the past few weeks.
Libya and Iran in Ezekiel 38:5
Sadly, I don’t see how this differs substantially from the Bush Administration’s position.
Jerusalem isn’t going anywhere....you hsve to visit there and physically see it!!
Can you please help with the passages of such warnings from the Bible? Thanks!
Wow. I would argue that we are dangerously stupid not to stand in judgement - I'd much rather base future decisions on the truth, than, well... I don't have any idea on what justification you can have for disregarding your better judgement.
The Jews worshipped a Golden Calf even after Moses’ God brought them out of slavery! You expect things to be different 2000 years later?
Just because they are the Chosen people doesn’t make them brilliant.
God bless every Jew that voted McCain today.
McCain is going to get a bigger share of the Jewish vote than Bush ever did.
Too many of my NYC hardcore Dem Jewish family are voting for McCain.
Essentially this isn't much different from what Israel has offered in the past, or with the Bush administration's position.
The Bush administration promised Abbas the 1949 lines, which is more generous.
To start read Zechariah 12 and Zechariah 14, then Revelation 19.
Then read Daniel 8:25, Joel 3:1-2, Daniel 11:37-39.
A separate thing, as in the videos I posted above (watch them) is Ezekiel 38 and 39. I believe this war occurs before Armageddon for a number of reasons. However it seems to possibly be finished at Armageddon (there are differences but the ending is quite similar).
I also suggest Matthew 24, Luke 17 and 21 and Mark 13.
More later ...
People are going to be shocked and say “how could this happen?”
We were warned. Clearly.
I worked with several Christians who blew this stuff; didn’t believe it. They *will*. But they were liberal left Christians. Including some of the things that go along with that. I need not elaborate as you know what that includes.
Unfortunately yes. I have a neighbor whose husband claims he is a Christian. ...He has also said he would accept the mark of the beast before he would let his family starve.
These are dangerous times for people like him. Folks had better decide which side they are on because this could get ugly very fast. Believe in Christ and be saved or serve and worship the beast and live for a moment but then choose Hell for eternity.
s/b “blew this stuff off; i.e., scoffed and mocked”. Typo.
All we can do is warn. The rest is between individuals and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. But unfortunately, as so evidently witnessed tonight, their are many who are willfully blind.
