This Obama guy has probably set race relations back a generation.

Contrast him with an Alan Keyes;J.C. Watts; Michael Steele; Colin Powell or Condi Rice. Any one of whom would have conducted their campaign with decorum and class.

Folks, it ain’t over ‘till it’s over.
We can still fight for votes aginst Hussein.

Remember, Obama gave the finger to McCain on national TV- and
he gave the finger to US.
He has all the illegal money in the world behind him, he has the most powerful people in the world behind him- every Muslim, terrorist, racist and American-hater you can name and ACORN posed to steal the election for him.
He flaunts his Communist ideals by the red star on his campaign logo and merchandise.
He tells us plainly that he is a Muslim/Marxist- and there’s not a d*mn thing we can do about it!!!

Well, don’t be too sure, HUSSEIN!

America is on the verge of destruction.

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

Transcript:

“First, I’ll stop spending $9 billion a month in Iraq. I’m the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning. And as president I will end it.[i.e. not win it]

Second, I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending.

I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.

I will not weaponize space.

I will slow our development of future combat systems.

And I will institute an independent “Defense Priorities Board” to ensure that the Quadrennial Defense Review is not used to justify unnecessary spending.

Third, I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop new nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert, and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.”
(Is it mere coincidence this same candidate wants to disarm our nuclear capability at a time when terrorist Muslim nations are expanding their nuclear weapons capability? Is it mere coincidence this candidate wants to reduce our military at a time of global jihad Jihad from Muslim nations?)

The Socialist Party USA calls for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. Obama says, “I will end this war,” with never a reference to “winning” or “victory.”
The Socialist Party USA calls for the “unconditional disarmament” by the United States. Obama has promised to dramatically reduce defense spending. Listen to his words here:

Obama’s stealth ‘Global Poverty Act’ contains PROVISIONS TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF TAKING AWAY THE PRIVATE CITIZEN’S CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO OWN A GUN FOR SELF PROTECTION!

And what do we do when America’s military is gutted and the rogue nations are nuked up?

NATIONAL SECURITY AND FOREIGN POLICY

* He opposed the Patriot Act.
* He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and, worse, without preconditions.
* He voted YES on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.
* He has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations.
* He has publicly vowed to cut-and-run in Iraq.
* Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded.
*Biden said Obama will be tested by our enemies.
This announcement was prompted by FBI revealing that terrorist chatter on the net and elsewhere is that they are preparing an attack on America.

SECOND AMENDMENT
* He voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.
* He supports banning gun ownership.
*Obama’s ‘Global Poverty Act’ contains provisions to start the process of banning gun ownership by private citizens!

Open the borders!
The Socialist Party USA believes in open borders and six-months residency as the only requirement for U.S. citizenship. Obama marched with illegal aliens in Chicago in support of “comprehensive” immigration reform. Listen to Obama’s promises to La Raza in 2007.

THE BLACK LIBERATION THEORY
Obama had NEVER disavowed it!

SPREAD THE WEALTH AROUND!!
Obama went overseas to promise the “people of the world” that he would end the divide between rich and poor nations, and said, “people of the world, this is our moment, this is our time.”

Obama is running for a hostile takeover of the US on behalf of the anti-American international community. His plan is quite plainly to rape and pillage America’s wealth, and redistribute it to the rest of the world. His speech was brazenly candid about this.

He has already put forth this very plan in the S.2433 Global Poverty Act of 2007, which he authored in the Senate. This bill, in fact will stick the U.S for 845 BILLION dollars. Thats $2500 dollars for every man, woman and child in America. That’s in addition to the BILLIONS we already funnel into third world countries who hate us.
(It’s coming up for vote soon, and I urge all to contact their representatives to stop this Obama atrocity. )

Study Obama’s ‘Global Poverty Act’ carefully!
Obama’s ‘Global Poverty Act’ Obama’s stealth ‘Global Poverty Act’ contains PROVISIIONS TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF TAKING AWAY THE PRIVATE CITIZEN’S CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO OWN A GUN FOR SELF PROTECTION!

Run a candidate that has a Muslim name.

Run that candidate with the Muslim name with a Muslim background.

Run that candidate with the Muslim name and Muslim background with pro-Muslim connections.

Run that same candidate with those same connections in the U.S. during a war in which U.S. is battling Islam.

And do it during a time in U.S. history when the battle cry is diversity, multiculturalism, and nonjudgmentalism.

Run a candidate that is immune to ALL criticism of any kind, because to criticize would make you a racist, AND THERE’S NOTHING WORSE THAN THAT in today’s modern life.

New Mexico and Utah I know also have mountains and are western. But they are so very much desert as well, I kind of “shoved them aside”, probably erroneously.

New Mexico is heavily, heavily Hispanic and Native American. Santa Fe is filled with artisan hippie types and rich celebrities. To have a slim shot there is nothing short of a miracle.

Utah is a lock for McCain.

Montana has a lot of Democrats, historically. It now has two Dem Senators. This is not really a new thing. I am not surprised at all to see a potential battle for Montana.

Colorado has not been reliably Republican for awhile. It’s been tight and getting tighter all the time as new people mostly fleeing Californians move in.

Nevada has had something similar going on for awhile.

I don’t think McCain could change what is.

Some states are a lock. Like you said, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho.

I’m hopeful for Montana and Nevada.

A little bit so for Colorado.

Little at all for New Mexico.

I don’t think it’s going to be a game changer the way it goes.

Sure we’d like to have it all, but that doesn’t reflect the realities going for some years now.

I was reading one of the blogs last night another freeper posted. I forget the name but it was incredibly detailed with on the ground PA and OH stuff. It was not HillBuzz (pumas) but they may link to each other. He said what you were saying about all these rusht belt & mid atlantic states being similiar and 5 points more conservative than another etc.

It talked about McCain going to the airport in PA and two of the ladies who worked on Hillary’s campaign missed the rally and raced to the airport just to wave. They thought Johnny would miss them but he saw them, had the truck turn around, jumped out, ran to them and hugged one woman with the Secret Service guy trying to chase McCain down!

These ladies I think ran Hillary’s campaign in PA. The blog said McCain offices had Repub and Hillary volunteers working side by side!

I wonder if McCain quietly hired these Hillary staffers in PA and other Rust Belt states and maybe FL.

I am pretty sure, based on a source I have, that McCain did this in NM.

I wonder if McCain has kept this secret the whole campaign that he is employing Hillary people in key states to reach out to PUMA’s. This may be the secret we read about tomorrow after the win.

This dovetails with Mr. Marston who said McCain will have a Landslide by switching a few PUMAs. Marston is a long time AZ resident and he lives in Prescott. I think McCain lives in Sedona.

I think the PUMA operation may be the biggest secret and end run in the history of American politics. I will fight with Pres. McCain, I am sure, but he is a clever man witha clever team.

Architects, myself excluded - I hope, tend to think they are smarter than everybody else. They are pretentious and obnoxious with a nauseating social “consciousness” that permeates their beliefs and warps their perspective. Just look at any architecture magazine and you’ll know what I’m talking about. I hate most of them.

Interesting. I thought that architects would be more of the type of engineers, who are far and wide conservative in my experience. In working with hundreds of 'em, I can only remember one that was moderately liberal.

Mr. Marstin thinks MN, WI, MI and even WA could be possible. I think he thinks IA may be just too hard. MI and WA are a real stretch but not impossible.

Marston must know McCain as they have been in AZ politics for a long time. Marston worked for Goldwater!

It’s sad... if it weren’t for NYC, this would be a wonderful state to live in. I can only imagine what businesses we could attract with a reasonable property tax rate.

And as far as I-86, I think it’s interstate-grade past Binghamton, but not contiguously - last time I drove east, they were still working on the Future I-99 and I-86 junction in Painted Post, and some more at-grade intersections along the way. It is designated Future I-86 in these parts though.

Don’t give up on NM. I have a theory that PUMAs are actually secretly working for McCain. I know this is true in NM from my sources on the ground.

The Catholic Church’s bishops in NM, PA and Kansas City have said Obama is totally unacceptable and it is not just due to abortion. The devout faithful Mexican-Americans north of Santa Fe may swamp the Lib in Santa Fe with McCain votes from what I am hearing. They also do not have a cutural affinity with Obama and some have called him the anti-Chr*** according to another Freeper.

The Native Americans in NM have a lot of PUMAs. McCain also fought for them in the Senate as Dems were ripping them off in the Indian Trust which holds Fed money for the tribes.

The words is the Mexican American vote in the North can go McCain, enough in ABQ and the South will go strongly McCain.

I always wondered why other states hated the Californians that moved there. If they are trying to inflict the same liberal agenda that went on in CA, I can see it. When we move, we'll be grateful to not have to deal with liberal crap and to finally be back in the U.S.

Unfortunately every election is too important to take a stand this time. But I think that maybe McCain saw the 2006 conservative boycott and gave us Sarah. Or maybe he was as smitten as everyone else.

We need the spirit of 1994 with actual spending cuts this time.

Well, that's interesting.

It is Mister Oabam, himself, who has turned the theme of the race into a referendum on rural Pennsylvania versus urbane San Francisco. Barack has made clear (at least as clear as makes it through the media fog) that the choice is between the old-school American Values of rural Pennsylvania versus the New School "American Values" of urban San Francisco.

And the effect of that choice is that many many voters, a small but significant portion of of whom skip elections, throughout the US align themselves with Pennsylvania and find San Francisco's values crazy, dangerous, even unspeakable. And they are ALL rushing the polls today.

And it is Obama, himself, who framed the election that way.

I'm debating whether it's a good night for a bender, since I've already voted and I'm home for the rest of the day. Not just yeah, but 'hell yeah!'"

I suggest a live thread: "Election Night Drinking Game"
Everybody watches the same returns broadcast.
Between breaks a count is kept of each mention of each state. Individual display of state on the screen counts. Display of state name on bottom scroll counts.
During the commercial break each person drinks the amount of times his home state was mentioned.

People may want to adopt a state if they live in a battleground state or if they live in a low EV state.

I would set it up but my kid has hockey tonight and I won't be around for a big part of the night.

... a referendum on rural Pennsylvania versus urbane San Francisco.

The hell of it is, those urbane San Franciscans need the Pennsylvanians a lot more than the Pennsylvanians need the San Franciscans (although the libs would never admit it). You can live without wine and cheese parties, queers, and The Vagina Monologues. Try living without steel, or 59% of electricity you use every day generated from coal.

“On BBC Radio 5, at 12.30 eastern Zogby went on to say that his polling showing that Ohio and Florida were going towards McCain.

Looks like historic Pubbie turnout all over. So much for all those cockamamie weighted polls. The Battleground pulled an 11th hour tightening with McCain running down Obama here at the last minute. So looks like of the 4 must hold 3 look good...NC, FL, Ohio. Now we wait on VA and then the rout will be on.

Let’s rebuild the steel industry in the US! It is decimated, on account of trade favoritism to overseas producers and because of Union-Management-axis hobbling of finances and morale. We need new companies in the US steel biz, completely new. But the ground has to cleared of the burdens of the old, the old companies with their pension and union contract baggage, the old trade mindsets, and the old anti-free-labor labor regulations.

The editor is probably PUMA. Don’t worry, they’re still liberal as ever in Ann Arbor (she’s a whore).

I love homeschooling. Took the kids in the booth to vote with me today (great civics lesson).

We did the same with our two daughters and one son over the years -- all homeschooled. Today they all voted, including our 18-year-old son voting for the first time ever.

I suspect that one of the daughters didn't vote our way, but we believe she will eventually come around. Nevertheless, I am so proud of them all for making the effort to do what they've watched us do over the years.

With my wife and two of the three children, plus a son-in-law, we delivered at least 5 McCain/Palin votes scattered between FL and GA, plus any that my older daughter (mother of a slightly autistic child) might have convinced to vote Palin through her blog posts.

Please excuse me for posting this to you, I do that as a convenience of posting.

I just posted the following at Michelle Malkin's blog:

There’s a lot of hyperbole in that statement Film. We’re not going to turn into Cuba with 4 years of Obama.

Sorry, Ahh, but the lessons of history say otherwise. Hitler won but not big, yet by diligence and motivation he and his team completely took over the most modern and intelligent society of Germany in the 1930s. And they did it mach schnell.

Not the US? Then read Amity Schales history of FDR’s years. FDR moved fast, and once he wrangled the Supreme Court into an arm of his administration — public freedom suffered greviously and quickly. Read the chapter on the chicken butchers to see just how fast and how severe, and HOW CLOSE WE CAME to National Socialism.

Relatedly President Bush’s reaction to to the credit crisis —throwing WILD amounts of money and authority to Paulsen and big finance can be seen as a necessary attempt to forestall the damage a nazi Obama Administration would cause, and to dilute their power, by giving away so much power BEFORE the Obama Nazis (for German National Socialism, the politics of the Nazi Party, are the closest thing to Obama’s economics and ruling models as he has expressed them) have a chance to wield it.

* * *

In any case, McCain is winning in a landside, imo.

YET — we must always remember (at least for the nest 12 years) how damn close we came to being a Nazi Nation.

I’d have to see that to believe it.

Meanwhile, can’t sleep, too upset.
