Interesting...but although architecture is you say a liberal profession, is your group considered liberal? And if so, how do you explain their support for McCain/Palin?

I am curious about such things. TIA.

I would say yes, in general and under normal circumstances. I’m definitely the only conservative and the only one who voted for Bush 4 years ago.

I’m not a licensed architect but I do have a BS degree in Architecture from a private school in Michigan.

To give you an example, one of our studio projects that we had to design was a monument to the Kent State massacre. As an outspoken conservative I can assure you it was four years of hell. That was in 1992-1996 or so I can only imagine what its like now.

Another observation: Despite the constant talk about racism there were only 2-3 black students in the program at the time.
