I'll be posting results and analysis on this thread as the Ohio returns come in. There are a couple of wild cards in play this year. First, our new early voting period means that some early results will be skewed, as it appears that a significant proportion of Democrats, especially African Americans, voted early. This will give an advantage to Democrats in the early numbers.
Secondly, a significant number of ACORN registrations were determined to be invalid (like 1/3) and so many of those registratnts, if the vote, will be give provisional ballots. These ballots will only be counted if the regular and early vote margin is too close to call.
OMG, just after 9, FNews called Ohio for Nobama for a few min. and BY MISTAKE!
Talked to Gorilla44....The SOS Ohio state ineractive map is incorrect, numbers show McCain, does not make sense.
Ohio is still in play. That was an error by Fox news. Ohio is still undecided.
Geauga is not blue. With 69% counted:
John McCain (REP). . . . . . . . 19,697 56.83
Barack Obama (DEM) . . . . . . . 14,341 41.38
ohio just called for obama. its over.
Fox just called Ohio for Obama
Which is it?
officially called for obama.
i’m turning this BS off. i can’t believe this is America.
it’s not America anymore. The media has completely brainwashed 60 percent of our population including probably 70 percent of our kids. I blame our media and I blame us conservatives for not raising our kids to be more conservative. I know too many of my conservative friends with very liberal minded kids. Wish we could have more infuence ya know. But with pop culture, the media, and academia we’re fighting a tough road. I can’t believe we are really about to elect this guy president. What the hell is wrong with everybody?

Brunner must go!
Brunner must go!
We are no the hand-out gimme state.
Unbelievable that anyone would be calling Ohio for Obama. McCain is winning by a hefty margin in most counties.
I’m very disappointed in my home state, especially my home county. What happened to Cuyahoga? Oh yeah, ACORN’s been there. Wonder how many of all those Ohio votes are fraudulent. Disgusting.
This can’t be right. Why is there such a big margin so early? I feel like someone just punched me in the gut.
They’re saying on the tv that no Republican has won an election without Ohio, is this true? Again, this is too early to call I think.
You’re panicking too early.
Bring on the attorneys!!
