Obama wins Ohio...it's not going to happen for McCain.

Unlike Goldberg's, half of this new book is actually devoted to the solution to reclaim traditional America. Time to get reading.
I had a long discussion with another attorney today. He claimed to be a Christian. He apparently is fairly active in a Baptist church and attends weekly Bible studies. To my amazement he told me that he voted for Obama. I flat out told him that I could not imagine how any Christian could possibly vote for Obama. He apparently was completely ignorant of Obama's radical stand on the issue of late-term abortions, and the born alive act. He gave me the standard "excuse" that "nobody is for abortion" and that somehow he was convinced that Obama was against abortion.
I explained to him how angry God was at the worshipers of Molech and Baal, and how his anger was stirred by the fact that they were sacrificing their children. I pointed out to him that there is literally no difference between sacrificing your child to Molech and aborting your child for economic reasons. I pointed out to him that 99.9% of abortions are for economic reasons and that less than 1/10 of 1% are necessitated by "rape, incest, or the life of the mother."
I also pointed out to him that God's judgment came down upon those nations that practiced child sacrifice. I pointed out how God utterly destroyed those nations, ordering the Israelites to kill every man, woman, child, God, of course, chicken, and anything else that was living and not to take anything out from the city that he ordered destroyed.
what amazed me was his utter and complete lack of understanding of the issue of the life of the unborn and Obama's peculiar stand on the issue. All he could do is make excuses for his choice to vote for Obama. I pointed out that I could not possibly see how any Christian, knowing the stand of Obama on the issue of life could possibly vote for him for president.
Unfortunately after I was done speaking with him, I was fairly well convinced at that point that Obama was going to get elected. There are simply too many "Christians" like him. There are simply too many "Christians" who think that the issues of economics, the so-called plight of the poor, and the unfairness of wealth distribution are somehow more important than the life of our posterity.
I fear that the same kind of judgment that was brought upon the nations in the Old Testament that practiced child sacrifice will be brought upon this nation at some time in the near or not to distant future.
Apparently America has spoken. Apparently America has made its choice.
This is a sad day for America. To paraphrase Michelle Obama, this is the first day in my life where I have been ashamed to be an American.
(Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
May God have Mercy on us all.
Hubby and I are discussing tonight how we can retire early.
We done that after W. got elected in 04 - we do not regret it one bit. Go for it, and claim every tax exemption you can find in your state.
I can guess Mitt Romney will start pounding the living crap out of Obama on weekend talk shows by this time next year.
By then we will have 10 percent unemployment, and people will want to shoot themselves for voting for this idiot.
Biden will have made at least 20 retarded statements, and people will begin to realize that the aneurysm did severe brain damage.
Obama is Bush’s legacy.
You know that 2 year supply that the mormons used to teach.
Stock up....to include ammo and the things that make them go bang.
A socialist makes a country communist by causing a crisis and a revolution.
There is yet a remnant, though.
I wonder what in the world pro-abortion “Christians” think is floating around in the amniotic fluid of the womb prior to its birthday?
Your lawyer friend is a feel-good, happy-clappy, religious clubber. We’ve all got our weaknesses and our times when we sin, but the point is that we’re supposed to acknowledge it as sin. We’re not supposed to explain it away.
I probably should have voted for Baldwin.
Yep.
Someone will be along soon to chide you for voting (in effect) for Zero, but not me. I also voted for Baldwin, in SC, a safe-bet state. Also, for the first time in my life, I did not vote for a Republican for Senate - Pandsy exemplifies my disgust, and I’m sure he gets his lever pulled plenty without a reach-around from me.
I don’t know if my vote will actually ever matter again in big elections, as I will be confining my family to “safe” states, purposely. I recognize that I prayed last night for the impossible, an electorate able to put their country/long-term, above a payday; an educated/un-indoctrinated electorate; a population where the ne’er-do-wells still had a conscious, and knew that they don’t really deserve a say while they are on the teet.
I know that I am foolish.
I will honor the memory of what a group of rabble rousers were able to accomplish 235 years ago, and what millions of men with great courage have sacrificed. As a more eloquent man that I has said, “I declare that this government is no longer a constitutional and moral form of government. I will deal with it, and I will obey its laws, and I will support it when it is defending our country from foreign and domestic enemies. I will vote in its elections and participate in its political debates. But I will never accept it. I aim at a restoration of constitutional and moral order.”
You “betcha”
The Bush legacy is complete...
Another thing: In the future, it sure helps if whatever candidate you have is a bit articulate.
George Bush was better able to communicate a point and argue it than was John McCain.
Our best communicator this time was Giuliani, but he was no conservative. After him it was Romney or Thompson. Even Thompson, though, wasn’t quick on his feet.
Just a few short years ago I would have said East Tennessee. But our first Mexican President ruined it. East Tennessee Rural areas are still OK though. But the major cities like Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Morristown are over ran with Bush's Far South of Crawford, Texas friends.
I represent a couple of solid evangelical urban churches and am amazed that the pastors have the same outlook as the “christian” attorney you spoke to. All they could talk about was the “if you have done it unto the least of these” theme. I asked them if they knew who gave the most to “the least of these”, McCain or Obama and they could not answer nor could they explain “evil companions corrupt good morals”.
What is even more maddening is when the corruption and the restrictions on their liberty and pocketbook start, they will rejoice that God has counted them worthy to suffer rather than see it as God giving them the desires of their hearts and bringing leanness.
see #161 & #165
Since then, we have not had a spokesman to rival Newt.
I know it's a double standard, but if we are to set ourselves up above the Dem low lives, we need a representative who embodies his principles without his ‘baggage’.
I have recently been thinking of taking courses in political science and government. I think I should be willing to "walk the walk". ( a funny choice of words, given my current 'position')
What is the leanness that God will give for turning a head so as not to see the babies in Molech’s belly?
Or for helping to put them there?
He can relax, be himself. He can write new laws for Obama, that Im sure Obama will be happy to pass. Maybe he can start with the re-write of the Fairness doctrine .... or maybe Cap and trade, and banning offshore drilling. Maybe A good tax hike to nail the rich.
What is the leanness that God will give for turning a head so as not to see the babies in Molech’s belly?
Or for helping to put them there?
I can agree with that. I have long held that by Divine Law national leaders are one of two things. They are either a blessing to nations with contrite and GOD fearing hearts, or used as a judgement for those doing otherwise. For our drinking of the cup lesser of evils The Tab we have ran up as a nation has just come due. Clinton was a warning. Obama will be a judgement.
Yeah, he used the old "Golden Rule" argument and had the temerity to suggest that if Jesus were alive -- (as if he were dead) -- if Jesus were alive, today, he'd be a Democrat because somehow "doing unto others" is solely a Democrat virtue. I suggested that Jesus would never rob Peter to pay Paul, which is what the progressive tax does. I told him that Jesus would advocate voluntary Charity rather than forced Charity. I also pointed out that the welfare system makes the Government "God" in they eyes of those who receive Manna from the Government and they no longer rely upon the good graces of the Church.
It was a maddening conversation, but at the end, I knew that Obama was going to be the next president, because Obama is going to the the Messiah from Washington. People have decided to put their trust in Government and abandon their trust in God.
Its a sad day.
I'm probably going to retire to the Religion Forum after tonight. Let's say we start up the Calvin/Arminian wars again. At least if we are busy arguing scripture, we will also be busy studying it. I'm sick to death of politics. God's plan was set in motion before the foundation of the Earth. Sometimes its better to just watch from the sidelines than to struggle to change it.
Everything that I thought I was seeing was just a mirage.
Reagan's Party and Reagan's America is gone now.
I’d prefer my candidates in the future to resign their other positions. He returns to the Senate; she returns to the governorship.
As a paranoid conspiracy theorist....no...as another human being, it would be easy for me to say to myself, “Doesn’t matter; I still have a really good job to fall back on.”
What would they do differently if that weren’t true?
What if they gave a Rapture and nobody left?
I just heard Carl Cameron on Fox say that many in McCain’s camp “whispered” that McCain felt Obama, as a historic candidate, “should” win.
Is that the same as hinting that McCain THREW this election?
Sigh
Absolutely.
All from the right.
:>)
“I’m probably going to retire to the Religion Forum after tonight.”
I think I will reintroduce myself to K.
Our goal for 2012 .... run with a guy born after 1950 who doesn't look and talk like a recovering drunk. We might actually win.
God help us.
Am I being too much of a downer?
What if God’s judgment is to make all America’s deals work out, and everyone has 2 cars in every garage and porterhouse on every grill?
He makes them so comfortable that they say to themselves, “....forget about those babies being sacrificed to Molech.”
That’s separating the sheep & goats. And then....
Me too. I think that a lot of 401K investors are going to change their positions in a drastic way. It's silly to invest when the communist government (like the one just elected) gets first cut.

All of that being said, perhaps you should run for Congress in ‘10?
Satan (the delusions of the religion of man) won this battle; take heart for yourself, your loved ones (including most here that I’ve gotten to know), and your knowledge of His Truth — we know with sureness He has always planned on winning the “Big One.”
Stay true, and remember that this life’s time is only a blink of an eye compared with the time he has in store for you. Nevertheless, you will want to proudly tell Your Father what you accomplished with this short time, how apparent it is that His wishes motivated you.
Let God continue to bless this fantastic and God-fearing community. Amen.
***What if Gods judgment is to make all Americas deals work out, and everyone has 2 cars in every garage and porterhouse on every grill?***
More than likely SPAM in every frying pan and 1 Euro style car (read: tiny) car in every driveway.
***Thats separating the sheep & goats. And then....***
Amen
We’ve already started. You will see FALCON make a helluva lot of noise for the next 4 years.
Hunter/Palin FALCON 2012. No worries about not calling the spade a spade.
Never mind the Rapture, I want to know how the post mils and amils can look at this mess as the Kingdom being progressively ushered in.
Maybe we have reignited the eschatological wars rather than the Calvinist'Arminian wars.
“More than likely SPAM in every frying pan”
They had the “Spamarama” cook off on the cooking channel tonight. The corn dogs made with Spam coated in a mix of cake mix, corn meal, and jalapeno peppers and deep fried looked great.
I used to buy cigarettes from Latvia back before I quit smoking. They weren't too bad and were sure cheaper than even Indian cigarettes from the reservation over in Reno!!!
Thank God that's over with!!! The poor smokers are worse off than the blacks/slaves ever were. They not only can't even sit in the back of the bus... THEY CAN'T EVEN GIT ON THE DANGED BUS!!!
No sir. It is not. No more so than after the Watergate/RINO Ford/Carter years. The seed planted by Reagan and Goldwater and Buckley many decades ago bore fruit in CA; and then the entire nation in 1980. Just in the nick of time, I might add.
The many seeds and deep roots that Reagan sowed and cultivated will lead us back to a Constitutional Republic, and away from the stinking piles of bullshit we have seen over the last 20 years since the Gipper faded away.
We are in for a rough 4 years. But make no mistake, the democrats will make Bush and Co. look like responsible stewards of our dollars, and make the Clinton Administration’s foreign policy look like Patton was running the show.
We have our work cut out for us. America just elected a marxist quisling. And it will take nothing short of the total re-invigoration of conservatism - the unabashed conservatism and humor of Ronald Reagan, the brilliant natural law conservatism of Jefferson and Madison and Franklin; the deep wisdom of Edmund Burke and Adam Smith, and the ‘bloody your nose’ conservatism of Teddy Roosevelt and Winston Churchill - to stop Obama, Ayers and their revolutionary red brigades.
We can do it. We have no choice. But it is our sacred duty and honor, in service to He who gave this country to us, and to the memory of all the brave patriots that spilled their blood for our posterity.
It is our turn, Walt.
America becoming Obama’s “world citizen” socialist mecca? Not on our watch.
Well, Xzins, we did our damndest to get the GOP to snap out of the funk it was heading towards with the Rudy McRomney chosen ones. To no avail.
Me too. Talking with my 401K folks today. Time to cash out. Money is safer under a mattress anyway. I call upon "True Americans" to protect their assets and income from thievery. Be VERY tactful and imaginative when doing tax returns. And make as much "under the table" money as you can......
The 2 mandates that I think Obama has is: (1) His tax cut for 95% who make under $250,000. (2) His universal health insurance plan. His followers also will think he has a mandate to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Oddly enough, those tax cut and universal health are contradictory unless he pulls out our troops AND raises taxes. So, he’ll go very quickly for that tax cut for the 95%. That way, the tax increases starting in 2010 when the Bush cuts start expiring will end up making taxes higher when all the math is done.
He’ll still need the money from the military, so he’ll bring them all home and transfer the money borrowed for the war to being money spent on health care.
The message to families of our military is very sad. Since we know that Obama has set a deadline of 16 months to be out of Iraq, that means ANY death there between now and that moment in time is a total waste. We should support at this point getting out troops out.
HE is a democrat. He will not cut anyone's taxes. Bush's tax cuts are due to expire. That means a tax hike for everyone. Obama will institute universal health care. That means a significant payroll cut for all employees who are not currently under some kind of payroll plan where they get health insurance. Small businesses will be bankrupted by having to institute the health care for all their workers regardless of whether or not those workers even care about it.
Obama will cut the military, which means that defense contractors will lay off workers and military personnel will be sent into the private sector where unemployment will likely to reach 10% in the next two years.
There is simpy not enough money for Obama's grand plans, so taxes will rise not only on the rich but on everyone. Usage fees and excise taxes and luxury taxes will be doubled or tripled, which will force luxury item manufacturers (like boat builders) overseas.
There is simply no way Obama is going to cut anyone's taxes. We are now Europe. When is the last time a Socialist European Country lowered taxes?
Brace for a depression.
With double digit inflation likely in the next 4 years, your money in the mattress will soon be worth less than the straw you took out to make room for the money.
