All pretense is now dropped.

They elected a man who voted three times for infanticide.

I'm sick.

I'm as disappointed as all of you are about Murtha...
I live here in Somerset County, just out side Murtha district, Bill Shuster (GOP) is our congressman and he just won re~election with 64% of the vote 171,636..

Bill Russel (GOP)newcomer to politics and a great guy who served his country for 26 yrs. in the Military gave Murtha a good fight...just not enough to convince the Bill Clinton lovers who was here yesterday giving a rally for murtha...

results MURTHA 58% 149,602
RUSSELL 42% 107,947

Fayette County in murtha district gave murtha 60% vote, they are all older folks on SS or disability and welfare munchers...really sad to say that but that is just how it is...Macain~Palin did great in all the counties of PA except in the far east coast, where the Philly, Bucks county is located...macain won York, Lancaster and mostly all the western counties...

I was born here in Somerset County and left at 10 years old, on visits here I discovered the LOVE of my life and we lived in OHIO for 52 years, but returned here in retirement to enjoy the quiet, clean air of country living...tonight when I was checking out the electoral maps I discovered the county in Ohio that we lived in voted obama 59%, where sherrord brown delivered for obama...

I am guessing that voters, in Murtha’s district, hated GOP so much that they were willing to forgive Murtha’s comments...

I’m stunned. This creep lies about our military, which effectively provides aid and comfort to the islamists, insults his constituency, and STILL gets re-elected. This is a microcosm of what the country, as a whole, did yesterday.
Like in 1992, the country just handed the car keys to a drunk driver only this time it’s worse. We’ve just elected an arrogant affirmative action baby with a chip on his shoulder who, like Herr Hitler, has told people exactly what he wants to do (given the limited detail he’s provided). If past is prolouge and if his word can be believed on such matters as abortion and “spreading the wealth around”, this country is screwed. The congress is much more leftist than 16 years ago and, despite not getting to a filibuster-proof number of 60 in the senate, will attempt to steer WAY left. The looters are in control. We are becoming Europe. I’ve never been so ashamed for the United States than I am right now.

Unbelievable. Apparently Murtha has his constituency accurately pegged and they don't mind being outed as racist rednecks.

I agree. Unless punk thug Obama has ten times the mettle I think he does he is not up to the challenges he faces. He is a disaster elect and will soon be generating unprecedented buyers remorse.

We need to be ready to act because I think there is a big opportunity coming in 2010 and 2012. We took a good beating tonight but If we work super hard for the next 2-4 years we can turn this around. We’ve learned some hard earned lessons. Damn hard earned. And we need to put them into effect.

Look at Canada. They tossed the liberals out because of far, far, far less scandals than Obama is about to unleash. Getting some foothold in the media is the key. We need our own voice.

What we need is a “Groundhog Day” type of thing, where we keep at it till we get it right! :)

As an Appliachain from Tennessee, I was insulted by Murtha and suprised by this. Moveon.org came and stoled it and bought it at the last minute

Re: “The people of Pennsylvania must be masochistic, or consumed with self-hatred, to elect this bozo. Sheesh, what is wrong with people?”

It’s the Koolaid they drink!

There is an old saying: “We get the government we DESERVE!

I’m talking about the Koolaid drinkers who voted for Murtha and OBAMA!

It`s all the earmarks. Murtha could take a dump on their faces and they would`nt care as long as he got those earmarks for them.

So I guess the next step is the military will begin opting out and retirements will begin as soon as possible.

Who thinks our military will choose to remain under these circumstances?

Time for torches and pitchforks in our march on Washington.

Hey, we should go high-tech and 21st Century on them. Instead of pitchforks, arm ourselves with 750,000 volt tasers, carrying 100-LED flash lights, with which we shall blind them first.

And carry plenty of spare batteries.

The soldier who salutes by the helicopter mark my words, will be an Obama supporter. Who’d want to salute our first marxist leader whose election was purchased by countries who don’t like us very much? Bloodless coup. The republic is dead.

Yes it was !

Given my family and business, I did about all I could to help get our team elected in PA.

Good bet there aren't any more '.. stuck on stupid .. bunch of retards ..' here than in whatever heavenly, totally red state you're in,
which no one can tell seeing that in 8yrs you haven't found the time to cowboy up with an actual profile.

Murtha's an asshole and deserves a noose imho, and there millions here outside the maggot's district who agree, but only those particular people can tell you why they re-elected the pos.

Was there no vote fraud in your utopia ? Did your state deliver a record turnout for the ticket ?

If your answer to the former is 'no', and to the latter 'yes', only then can you claim (assuming you lifted a finger to contribute to either) the dubious right of condescension toward this state.
