I think it is time for solid conservative states to think about succession. I would love to see Alabama succeed, drill off its shore in Mobile and build refineries there. We could be the new OPEC of the Americas. No need for any federal money, we can print our own petro dollars.

My two cents: he’s elected. Get over it AND make sure that we moderate his views. Just because Obama may have some stated objectives does not mean that he cannot be persuaded to change and if not, at the very least moderate his views. What are the alternatives? Sit back and do nothing or go into outright revolt? Neither is good. Get involved now in influencing / moderating the Dim’s view points and policies and perhaps this will not be so bad. If we sit back and do nothing saying “not in my name”, then everything will go bad.
That’s the scariest verse in the Bible.

As I watched this evening’s events unfold with great sorrow, Sen. McCain said that he loves his country. Obama, on the other hand, never uttered those words. Without speaking, he spoke the truth: he does not love this country. He has been manipulated by the most extreme beliefs in the world and worse still, he has proceeded to corrupt the minds of most of the American people. I have seen our future...
In three months...
Our new “President” will be inaugurated; the ignorant masses will cheer as confetti rains from the sky. A closer look will reveal the confetti to be 230 year old documents: the Declaration of Independence and The United States Constitution. It’s what the people wanted after all: CHANGE.
Six months will pass...
The U.S. is no longer present in the Middle East. Israel will fall to the Iranian radicals. The nearly-democratic (democratic meaning seeking democracy, not the mask worn by these political socialists) Iraq will collapse and be reverted back to its own ways.
You think thats scary? That’s just what will happen overseas.
A terrorist attack upon this nation will make 9/11 appear so harmless. Hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions will perish. We will turn to our government for help; they will ignore our cries for help as they benefit from our despair.
Forget about trying to speak out against the corruption. The freedom to express ourselves will be stifled and those who insist upon doing so will be severely punished.
Those who trusted this socialist murderer will wonder why and how this could happen. Remind them that they wanted CHANGE and CHANGE is what they received.
A lesson has been learned on this terrible evening: the day the ignorant become the majority is the day the world falls. Today is only the beginning.
I pray for myself, my family and loved ones (even those blinded from the truth), my fellow Americans (those who understand what America truly stands for) and for my country. While we face the darkest days in America in the years to come, my hope is that one day, she will be reborn, stronger than ever, run by people who recognize the true face of evil and deception.
For now, we must hold our heads high and our hopes higher still. Though our reputation as the greatest nation has been tainted, we must trust in ourselves, in our beliefs, in our fellows, and in our God. With his blessing, we will see this to the end and repair the damage done.
