One ray of conservative hope: Congressman Tom McClintock

Tom is one of a few rational voices in California politics. If you are a Ron Paul fan due to Ron's fiscal policy, you will really like Tom. He is NO RINO. And it looks like he just won his first congressional seat by a hair (451 votes).

Let's hope he part of the new crop of Republicans in Distric of Corruption that stokes a new Republican Revolution.

here's a link to those that endorsed him

Just wanted to introduce him to the Freepers out there. Gotta find the positives in this very negative turn of events. The Empire has taken over and Darth Hussein is about to turn the world dark.

He still hasn’t won a statewide race in California, something he will have to do if he wants to be the next Reagan.

While you are right, he won’t be able to due to the leftist nature of this state on the Coast. After Arnold, you’ll never see a true Republican win a statewide election in California in a while, imho.

When CA implodes, McClintock will be there to sweep up the mess.

He really is a consistently sensible leader. I have always looked to him for guidance during all the nonsense in CA.

He sounds great. He will be the new MSM poster boy of the evil right. They will demonize him very quickly.

Didn't he run against Schwartznegger for governor. He's one of my son's favorites...my son lives in LA.

Well the state is bankrupt and the idiot voters just voted in more gigantic bonds for “children’s hospitals” and high speed rail that the rest of us in the state will never see or use - but will get to pay for... California economic crash coming soon.

This is good news! I became aware of Yom McClintock during his governors race, and will be watching his political career. He is a true conservative, and I really like him!

I’m glad to hear Tom won. I like him. He’s what I would consider an honest politician. A rare commodity these days.

Well, all the red counties voted against the damn things. We are outnumbered. At least we passed 8. Proud to say my county is among the red or, in this case, yellow:) You are right though, the rest of us will pay for crap we do not need. Just more sh** to take the money away from us.
