McCain and all the other GOP Shamnesty supporters were stupid to think that by granting illegal immigrants amnesty, that Hispanic voters would flock to the GOP. Hispanic U.S. citizens resent illegals as much as whites and blacks.
Well said, although I still voted for the lesser of 2 evils.. :/

Have a 'housekeeper' 'illegal' and here for thirteen years and non-voting; owns her home etc. She is a good, hard-working person; as was her husband; who has now been deported. . .and both share a wonderful family; fine children etc. All of whom are threatened by latest turn of events.

Anyway; to my larger point here; she offered that Obama frightened her; that she watched the debates and did not trust him because he never really answered the questions put to him. She did not like the 'adulation'. She said that she has seen 'Obama grafitti' that warns of 'Obama bin Biden'. ..

She still does not understand how/why so many American's think he is good for America.

I voted for the ticket, only because of Sarah Palin. If she had not been the nominee (or someone of similar conservative values) I would not have voted for the GOP candidates.
