The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
Allahs got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Camerons words, knowledgeability. More slime here. And here.
At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.
Lets assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Dont need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.
Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didnt agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.
And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.
Shame on the smearers who dont have the balls to show their faces.
Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

LOL.. Where were these aides when their man was stuttering around and bumbling the bailout package?
What dips.
She and we need a new political party. We will never get rid of the RINOS.
Hello,I’m Fred Garvin, male prostitute, err I mean political
consultant!

It was the late-added presence of SARAH which energized an otherwise moribund and apathetic conservative voting base.
It was SARAH who drew record-shattering crowds, everywhere she went on behalf of a sour and ungrateful McCain campaign.
Friendly little word of warning to any/all RINOs out there reading this, and thinking about standing in the way between this woman and the conservative base that adores her, anytime during the next four years:
You're expendable to us. SHE isn't.
Sarah Palin was by far the highlight of this campaign season. She represents me and I wish her and her wonderful family well.
Made my teeth grind when I saw what they were doing to Palin after the loss.
Politics is a filthy business to be in. The more honest and truth-telling you are, the worse you are demeaned by the spinners.
Sarah Palin is far too good a human to mess with it - perhaps she can accomplish much more in reaching people by other more positive methods.
I hope we in the public venue never lose our touch with her.
I’d agree with you. But the left sees her as a threat. Which she is. They will continue their character assassination campaign.
The problem was at the top of the ticket. When the primaries were concluded I knew we were sunk.
Now if only I can keep my spirits up during the week so I can get my work done. It doesn’t help that I am surrounded by smug Obama-ites at work. Although they are not gloating in my face (one even tried to clumsily comfort me by praising McCain’s concession speech, not exactly comforting), it is still a bitter pill to swallow, and I don’t think today is going to be much better.
If she was so bad, why did the RNC have the highest ratings ever?
Why did 70 million people watch her debate vs. Biden?
Why SNL had the highest rating in 14 years when she appeared?
Ditto all of the above! McCain had a pathetic, limp campaign going until he chose Sarah. I would have held my nose and voted for him but on election day, I was happy to cast my vote for Sarah on that ticket.
She saved the McCain campaign the embarassment of losing by a landslide, end of argument.
Exactly, When McCain was mumbeling inchoerently about Wall Street greed for two weeks, because he didn’t understand the actual cause of the financial crisis, or who really was to blame, it was his ignorance that cost him the election. Honestly, when McCain would say one stupid thing after another during that fiasco and when he publicly said that Obama would make a good president, I thought to myself, McCain wasn’t kidding when he said that he finished at the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy.
VictoryGal:
Chin up. Chin up. We have to realize that liberal elitism is now status quo. That’s ok.
Sarah Palin represents cloth coat Republicans. Not turn coat Republicans. Not East Coast Republicans.
We will see her to the Whitehouse.
Make it your mantra. Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat!
There, feel better?
:)
V’s wife.
This is all good. Lines now need to be drawn and the clearer they are, the better.
I’m starting a “dead to me” list.
Did anyone forget she actually has a NEW BABY? She was running and energizing crowds while dealing with a new baby.
I think this is a belated effort to diminish her. This has to be comming from two fronts. One from beltway mccainiacs and poedesta attackers.
BTW McCain followed Dole around in 1996 and apparently THAT was his model for his campaign.
(as for the africa comment, I know a few rap fans who don’t understand africa is a continent not a country)
ditto
mine too
Post of the day!!
Let’s all just list **ALL** of the top 20 central figures in the McCain campaign and blame them all for not pointing out the most evil ones in their midst. Hold them accountable and brand them and their credibility for future work, unless/until the most guilty parties are fingered or come forth on their own.
Let’s start with John McCain, himself - make that 21, then.
I’m getting late sleep. Someone start listing every known McCain staffer, please. Keep adding to the list. Maybe we’ll come up with more. Thirty people sucking up campaign contributions?
TOP TWENTY, GUILTY OF NOT OUTING THE EVIL DOERS:
1. John McCain
2. Rick Davis
3. Steve Schmidt
4. ____________ whassisname, McCain’s long time sidekick
5. Michael Goldfarb, whoever that is
6.
7.
8.
etc... go for it!
If you know their positions, list that too. If you don’t want to do it publicly, just sitemail me, so I can list their names in future posts.
She is great. She is ours.
If that’s a ping list, please put me on it.
TOP TWENTY-ONE BLACK JACKERS....
Seriously.
Post or FReepmail me.
done
Precisely.
Palin was "political viagra" to McCain's campaign, who didn't know what to do with it after she arrived.
Palin/Malkin 2012
Aside: I wonder how the “intelligentsia” would have dealt with Ronald Reagan—seems to me that Ronaldus Magnus was slimed as well after 1976...so too Barry Goldwater after 1964.
A Palin/Malkin ticket would infuriate the “intelligentsia” (bleep the intelligentsia and the democrat donkey they ride in on); but it would very likely take the Republican party back for us conservatives, all but assure us of the motivated volunteers and donors and punditry we need to return true Republicans to a working majority in Congress; and make for some great fun and battles in the next four years.
To RINOs: Mess with the (pit) bull and you WILL get the horn.
If this were true, don’t they realize that it simply reveals their extremely poor judgement in picking her as the running mate.
No undecided broke for Obama over Palin. That's a joke.
ONE DAY after they win the White House the Dems are busy spreading “Divide & Conquer” dissension amongst Republicans.......
and we FALL FOR IT!
Yesterday, one of the FNC anchors said that Steve Schmidt refused to say that Gov. Palin was a good pick for the ticket. He stammered and said let the pundits decide. He’s suspect #1.
If McNuts and his folks had let Sarah do the real straight talk, they would have been bett off. McNuts’ charisma was totally overwhelming! BTW, I’m back to using McNuts rather than McCain.
I worked my butt off for McCain these last months ONLY because he isnt Barack Obama. The only thing he did right throughout his entire campaign was picking Sarah Palin as his VP. Now the very people that led our party to disaster are attacking the one person who worked so hard to save it. Sarah will be back and John’s time is over. He is a military hero but a political fool who made it to the bright lights and wilted. He can go back now to being a RINO and let real Republicans rescue our party.
in 1996 McCain followed and campaigned with Dole.
McCain with a few changes copied dole. Other than picking a conservative, he did the whirlwind push the final days.
McCain thought he was “just picking a woman”, he was wrong and did not understand it was the candidate’s conservatism that made the case.
NOBODY here had any illusions about McCain.
Senator Palin would be the counter balance for Hillary Clinton in the Senate.
...better off. (Finish your thoughts)
Yeah, the problem is we worked for McCain but he wouldn’t work for us. Sarah is the one that kept my spirits up and she’s the future as far as I am concerned.
Shes a threat. They will put all their efforts into making her un-electable.
Bingo! Sarah brought more attention to the McCain campaign than all the gimmicks the McCain's handlers could come up with combined.
THAT is why these aides have a case of sour grapes. It's also why their post election commentary isn't sitting well with fans of Sarah.....
It seems that the McCain aides know they screwed up running the campaign so badly they’re doing a Barney Frank-they know they’re at fault so they have to play offense and blame Sarah before the finger points back to them. Sarah was the only reason I voted for McCain-hope doesn’t let this dim her hopes of going on to bigger things. She’s the best thing that’s happened to this party in a long time.
You're wrong Michelle! ...more like millions!
Schmidt’s the one who pushed for McCain to choose Palin.
All these stories are BS!
And your proof of this is what???
You calling Michelle Malkin a Dem? Hello??????
Face is. The RNC is an empty shell. Time to get out the wrecking balls.
I have one term for anonymous bashers like that —
Chicken sh!t.
John McCain lost the election because he discounted the new world in which the election was held.
It is obvious that he lost because the Obama campaign had the deciding advantage of new voters in sufficient numbers in the exact places required to produce the win.
Although the effect of the Acorn registration effort of fraudulent voters is not known, the fact is the effort was effective and did the job.
Nothing Palin did or did not do could have overcome this effort. The middle McCain was after simply wasn’t there.
Not only am I pissed off at the “anonymous McCain aides,” I’m REALLY disappointed at Carl Cameron for reporting this tripe. This has no more credibility than the “anonymously sourced” rumors that Obama is gay.
Many of these elites are members at the Council on Foreign Relations who desire a Socialist, on world government. (and bank) Barry is the candidate THEY'VE been waiting for.
And if we don't call BS on these ridiculous rumors RIGHT NOW, the next phase will be , “Everyone knows what Sarah Palin did in the ‘08 campaign.”
That's why it's so vital that WE ON”T TAKE THE BAIT!!!
These stories don't pass the smell test.
I certainly intend to work towards that goal.
Where can I contact Palin???
I am disgusted at these lowlives and at John McCain - perhaps he deserved to loose. The BEST things about him was he was not Barack Obama and he had Sarah Palin.
