Don't know if you're familiar with a BBC show about cars called "Top Gear".It's really entertaining and it's hosted by a very witty guy.In reviewing a Renault they had tested (and didn't like) he said at one point "and like everything French,it smokes".

I apologize for not being all that familiar with French automobiles.But for the record,I *do* know the French word for "excrement".Perhaps I should have used that.
