Good boy! Give Barney a nice big steak! Good dog...I'd give him a hefty slice of prime rib!

Looks like Barney is defending himself from an idiot who doesn’t know diddly about how to approach a dog.

Waaah! He broke the skin, waaah!
What a pussy! That guy should be embarrassed. I'd get a band aid and slink home, not get in front of a camera with it.

Looks like that lib reporter was asking for it. LOL
To: llevrok
This reporter is apparently not a 'dog person' because Barney's body language was all wrong for swooping down for a pat on the head. It really shocks me that the handler did not know Barney any better, or maybe walking the dog gets handed to whomever looks the most bored when the dog needs to potty.
In any event, Shepherd Smith was joking to the reporter about this litigious society and trying to ask if the reporter was considering a suit and I didn't hear the guy flatly deny the possibility. A nip on the end of the finger that, after much applied pressure, may have produced a half a drop of blood should be nothing more than a badge of honor to tell your grandkids about in thirty years.

I have a Scottie and he is very protective. He just knows the evil sonsabitches that cross our paths. If he likes you, you can do almost anything around him and he'll just accept it, but he can be a pit bull if you're not passing the muster.

Barney would have made a better Press Secretary than Scotty McClealen. At least he bites back. Scotty would curl up in the Fetal position.

I have an Akita/Shiba Inu mix, and he’s the same way.

Great idea.
Flood the White House with a literal mountain of Doggie Treats.
Of course, compassionate conservative George Bush would immediaely label it a hateful act by a bunch of vigilantes...

My final thought was that my dogs have always been excellent judges of people I don’t yet know. If my dogs don’t like them, we probably won’t ever be good friends ... maybe not even casual friends. Dogs know things.
