Possible Barack Obama Supreme Court Nominee Harold Koh Backs Abortion

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- When the time comes for Barack Obama to make his first selection for the Supreme Court, Harold Hongju Koh, the dean of Yale Law School, is one of the people on his short list. A Koh nomination would be a severe blow to the pro-life movement as he would assuredly vote to uphold Roe v. Wade.

During the campaign, so-called pro-life Catholic attorney Douglas Kmiec said Obama would want pro-abortion judges in the mold of Stephen Breyer and David Souter and mentioned Koh as a possible nominee.

But Piero A. Tozzi, of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute, points out in a recent edition of the group's Friday Fax publication that Koh is strongly pro-abortion.

Obama has already said that Murdering Babies is a LITMUS test. ALL his nominees will be rabid baby killers.

Well — a bit of perspective on this — the most likely pair of USSC justices to go in the next 4-8 years are Stevens and Ginsburg. Not much further left you can go beyond them. The conservative side is aging (Thomas and Scalia in the early 70s) somewhat, but not nearly as frail. At worst, for those two anyway, the future picks by Obama would be a wash.

Is there any way that he won’t be appointing any justices? I mean, who’s supposed to retire to create these vacancies?

And maybe even “baby eaters”. There are so many Democrat lawyers into killing babies, it takes a lot of effort for an individual to stand out from the pack.

Of course he does. Expect Obama to nominate judges whose idea of the court is to overrun the will of those backwards fundie type folks to make a brave new “equal” world.

He’ll get them in, too, and expect judges Ginsberg to jump down from their perch as soon as the man comes into office.

But remember, we got a Souder. There’s no reason Obama shouldn’t get his, and God has a way of turning people’s hearts. Remember Jane Doe. We need to bring this before God on a daily basis.

Yes, they will be a wash for now. Unfortunately, they may be on the court for decades.
