Call Senator McCain and demand that he defend Sarah Palin!!!
luoamerican.com ^ | November 07, 2008 | Baldilocks, AKA Juliette Akinyi Ochieng, SSgt, USAFR (ret.)

Posted on 11/07/2008 1:46:36 PM PST by KayEyeDoubleDee

I call on Captain John S. McCain, USN (ret.), Republican, Senior Senator from Arizona, to put a stop to the public smearing of your erstwhile running mate, Governor Sarah L. Palin, Republican from Alaska.

Governor Palin committed herself and her family to your cause, moreover, to the cause of America, provisionally for four years. She did so with gusto--even after the Mainstream Media saw fit to go after not only her, but two of her children--and we, the Republican electorate, were glad for her decision. She nearly saved your candidacy.

But, now that Senator Barack H. Obama has become President-elect Barack H. Obama, the finger-pointing has begun and I would expect such from the average political candidate. However, sir, you are not the average political candidate. You are a retired US Navy officer and, on top of that, a Vietnam POW and a survivor of the horrendous accident on the USS Forrestal. You know what it's like to be looking to your leaders in the worst of times and to have your subordinates look to you at similar points in time. You know about Faith, Loyalty and about Leadership.

Well, sir, it's time for you to Lead again. Stop the dishonorable actions of your subordinates toward another--not just for the governor's sake but for yours--because it is not the governor who your aides are dishonoring; it's you.

Sincerely,

Juliette Akinyi Ochieng, SSgt, USAFR (ret.)
Los Angeles CA

Call Senator McCain and demand that he defend Sarah Palin!!!

Perhaps, he'll cross "the aisle", as he's so fond of doing, and trash her himself?

What should be clear by now is that McCain is a conservative Democrat who is more comfortable with Lieberman and Kerry than any conservative in the Republican Party.

He nearly ran with Kerry, wish he had, would have saved us a lot of anguish.

The best thing McCain could do right now:
Demand that Stevens resign if he wins and ask for the signatures of all of the other GOP Senators asking Sarah to either run or appoint herself to the Senate. McCain can do this, and it would heal many of the questions and concerns about their partnership.

Then the best thing Sarah Palin could do would be to tell McCain to drop dead, since he is no longer relevant.

Sen. John McCain directed his staff to engage in guerrila warfare against the lovely Sarah Palin.

We knew who John McCain was before he won the nomination, and we know who John McCain is after he lost the presidential vote. It was only during the campaign that we deliberatly deceived ourselves into thinking he was a conservative kind of guy.

John McCain picked Sarah Palin to placate the conservatives, so we’re going to keep her and skin him! LOL!

I feel for him too but he's leaving her twisting in the wind. That's not right. It doesn't even have to be him. Send out a spokesman to say it. But it does need to be said and it needs to come from him or someone close to him.

I don’t want Governor Palin to respond either. It is just giving them credence. I still want Senator McCain to be my President. I just can’t accept the alternative since I believe BHO bought and stole this election.

Sorry. I can’t agree with you but I respect how you feel about the onslaught of lies flying around Governor Palin.

She's already stated she wasn't going to debate someone who was so chicken they hid behind “anonymous”. She's a lady and is above the fray. She doesn't deem them worthy enough to respond to and that's fine by me. However, McLame is no MAN. A real man would have been out the slapping down the very first reporter who spewed the hooey about Bristol and Trig. It's really McLame’s fault the msm thought they could run roughshod over her and her family.

Yeah!

Just like he had to babysit her through every interview.

Just like he had to explain and spin everytime she contracdicted his position on major issues.

Just like he was forced to program her to ignore moderator’s question.

Just like he had to explain why Neiman Marcus’ stock is going up.

Just like when he had to explain to everyone why she would be fine if there actually was a 3:00am call.

Just like he had to arrange a shot-gun marriage to resolve Juno Alaska.

Just like he had to spend time and resources fighting Troopergate.

Thats all the Old man did since the moment he picked her......clean up her mess.

Why not one more time!

While he is at it, send her a copy of constitution and a map of the world. She could use it.

Besides, Joe Lieberman needs his help now to save his position.

“Just like he had to babysit her through every interview.”

After the staffers picked the worst interviewers, and failed to bring along their own recording equipment to battle biased editing?

“Just like he had to explain and spin everytime she contracdicted his position on major issues.”

Well...everyone KNEW from the beginning she wants drilling in ANWR, and the whole unspoken message was we were all hoping HE would wind up moving to HER position on that.

“Just like he was forced to program her to ignore moderator’s question.”

Palin’s debate performance outshined the three other men combined.

“Just like he had to explain why Neiman Marcus’ stock is going up.”

“he”? ummm...no.
That was another “anonymous” leak again.
The woman can rake in millions for McCain and we REALLY have to hear more bitching about clothing?

“Just like when he had to explain to everyone why she would be fine if there actually was a 3:00am call.”

If that were really a concern for him - and you - then why was she chosen in the first place? Hmmm?

“Just like he had to arrange a shot-gun marriage to resolve Juno Alaska.”

“had to” did he?
And then he “had to” name her to run did he?
Poor guy - who was holding the gun to his head during all this?

“Just like he had to spend time and resources fighting Troopergate.”

Which he knew about prior to choosing her.

“Thats all the Old man did since the moment he picked her......clean up her mess.”

“her” mess?
HE PICKED HER!

She gave him millions of dollars and gave him a fighting chance.

You must be a media hack because you obviously paid no attention to anything that happened in the past two months.

Governor Palin was the best thing that happened in this campaign season.

If McCain and his staff had not been so determined to botch the economic issues and tiptoe around the real Obama then he might well have won.

Every problem he had was associated with him and/or the campaign staff HE picked and supervised.

No one is perfect, but Sarah Palin was better than any of the other 3 candidates. She would have had much more opportunity to shine if she had been “handled” properly — or rather if we had seen a lot less “handling” and more Sarah.

Lets start with first one......I have seen with my own eyes, time after time, McCain holding join interviews, because he can’t trust Sister Sarah to not make a bigger debacle. For years I have been watching elections, these joint interviews are absolutely rare, if they have ever been done. The reason was simple, don’t let her talk first and mess it up.

Proof.
