No doubt there was a fair amount of people who voted for Obama thinking that when Obama is president, I'll get what's coming to me.
That's kind of lame, in that it's the typical lazy human impulse that gives seemingly endless oxygen to the fire of socialism.
The scary part, though, is the instances where the vibe is . . .

The degree to which this continues remains to be seen. The degree to which it is allowed to continue also remains to be seen.

The utter idiocy of “compassionate conservativism” is coming home to roost. Stop me if I've posted this before, but...Recently, one of the black female students in a class where I often sub told me, "When Obama is President, you won't be able to talk to us that way."
My crime was in attempting to impose some minimal speech, behavior and work standards on the little darlings at the time. Silly me.

We gotta get organized and clean house in the GOP. The “Compassionate Conservatives” had their shot, the “Moderates” had their shot. Now it’s time for true small government conservatives to run the show.
Only then can we counter-act 0bama. Must focus on the 6o or so “moderate” Dem held districts, and hold their feet to the fire in failing to pass 0bama’s legislation.
I actually thought for a while about getting an 0bama bumper sticker for my car. It would look kind of odd right next to the NRA sticker, though.

There are a minority of blacks who've had that attitude for a number of years. It will only increase with Obama as president. Just consider the two black panthers in full regalia, who stood in front of the poll on election day in Phila, holding night sticks. Obama hadn't been elected yet. There made racial remarks against whites, the specifics of which I cannot recall. It made me wonder if perhaps more white Americans were ready for a black president than black Americans when one considers the maturity factor.
