State wide news ,friday 07 Nov, Cabinet positions have been offered and turned cown by Senators Snowe and Collins. According to this news story, Collins was offered Dept of Homeland Security.
Two new cents to anyone who can, now or later, name two democrat senators made this offer in a Republic controlled state. ANYTHING for 60 votes? If you have any republic senators in a democrat controlled state, call and warn them to be careful. 4 "accidents" are possible with this crew.
Good for them. He wants to stop the fillabuster.

Yup. And everyone needs to gush about how bipartisan he is and how wonderful he’s reaching across the aisle, but (drop eyes, bat lashes, smile coyly) our senators have a sacred duty to those who elected them to represent them in the state.
You know, if the left is going to play, we can at least play better.

There are former Clintonistas that have expertise in this area. Just count the number of bodies (accidents, suicides and mysterious deaths) from Arkansas to Washington, D.C.. It could happen this way: sitting at a park bench in ForT Marcy Park with two bullet holes to the head, a gun in your hand and not the caliber of the slugs in your brain-pan. Or, your car is T-boned by a cement truck on your way home from the office...

Snowe, Collins, Specter, Hagel, Lugar have been voting with the Democrats for awhile. They used to be joined by Jeffords, Chafee, Vinovich, John Warner, DeWine, McConnell and others. I've been calling them LIRDs [Liberals in Republican Disguise].

At the risk of being banned, I would use a term my DI’s at Parris Island were so fond of using - Trainees Under Recruit Discipline. In this instance, It would be changed to Traitors Under Republican Disguise.
