As he prepares to take office, President-elect Barack Obama is relying on a small team of advisers who will lead his transition operation and help choose the members of a new Obama administration. Following is part of a series of profiles of potential members of the administration.

Name: Jamie Gorelick
Being considered for: Attorney general
Would bring to the job: A wide-ranging Washington résumé that spans corporate, legal and national security affairs. Ms. Gorelick (pronounced Guh-REH-lick) was the No. 2 official at the Justice Department in the Clinton administration, from 1994 to 1997, and if chosen would be the second woman to be named attorney general, following her former boss, Janet Reno. Ms. Gorelick would also bring corporate experience to an Obama administration at a time of financial crisis.
Is linked to Mr. Obama by: Deep contacts in Democratic circles and a background in civil rights. But Ms. Gorelick backed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primaries and contributed early on to her campaign, which could work against her as a contender. She contributed $10,000 to Mr. Obama’s presidential political action committee in August, after his nomination was all but assured.
In her own words: “You know someone respected you if they called you ‘sir,’ ” Ms. Gorelick said, alluding to the glass ceiling at the Pentagon, where she worked as general counsel in the 1990s. “ ‘Ma’am’ is what you call your mom.”

BTW, gang, all the unsold houses in this neighborhood just sold this weekend. They are all fullup ~ just like a bunch of out of state Obamista staffers arrived.
We had more than our fair share of Clintonistas in an earlier time. Even ol' Charlie Trei bought a nearby restaurant which he named the "Fool'Inn" just like the one in Arkansas.
Two of the Clintonistas still fleeing subpoenas for their arrest lived here a long time ~ knew Gilbert Colon quite well in fact. Al Qaida people used to help work on taxicabs in front of his house in fact. One of the better known visitors in that block included the notorious Mir Aimal Kasi who jumped the gun and shot up a bunch of folks trying to go to work at the CIA up the way.
Anyway, the transition team guy with the "good neighborhoods you can afford" is on the job and they're coming here.
I'll find out the prices they paid in a few weeks and publish them in FR. No doubt the Obamistas are surprised and chagrined ~ although the prices dropped they're still higher than those people are used to. I do hope they push them up even higher ~

But she went on to have a successful career after government service at Fannie Mae earning over 23 million helping them make loans to people who couldn't afford housing.
That's right, she and the Dems set up and managed the looting of Fannie Mae. But apparently no one noticed.

She was a Fannie Mae director as well.

Of ALL the people in Washington, this is the ONE PERSON that should NEVER be allowed to ever darken the halls of government again...
-She is DIRECTLY responsible for allowing 9/11 to happen (THE WALL)
-She is DIRECTLY responsible for covering up and minimalizing Clinton’s security failures leadung up to 9/11. (9/11 Commission)
-She pocketed a cool $25 MILLION DOLLARS as a Fannie Mae executive Board member, (being appointed with ZERO experience or background in finance!) while it’s financial losses were being covered up, and is in part responsible for damn near BANKRUPTING THE ENTIRE PLANET....
And as ATTORNEY GENERAL, Obama is putting here ina position to cover up and ignore all of the Democrats FUTURE CRIMES! (Voter Fraud, Raping public enterprises, etc,etc)
Gorelick is a zombie, the walking dead.....
No way should she ever be anywhere near a position of public trust ever again.
Hey, all, this may be a case for the blogosphere — if they actually do nominate Gorelick that would be a great 1st case to draw a line, say NO NO NO.
I doubt that spineless Republican Senators would actually filibuster, but it would be worth attacking Gorelick b/c (1) her record is so despicable, and (2) it would enable us to raise all of her malfeasance associated with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, the 9/11 Commission, “the wall” that helped to bring about 9/11, her role in DOJ and DOD in the 1990s, etc.
