They didn’t vet a guy for VP who had been governor for roughly eight months. Gee, what a shocker...

Jindal was approached by McCain forces to gauge his interest in the vice presidency and told them he was not interested in being vetted due to his desire to continue on with his current job, to which he was elected just one year ago.

The title is an attempt to drive a wedge with those who like Jindal, however, the real story should be Jindal didn't want the job (at this time.)

I have a coworker who voted for Obama that said he likes Jindal because he is “moderate”. Uh...ok.

Jindal seems like he runs a smart ship so I look forward to 2010/2011 regarding his interest level.

Smart move on his part it seems but he still has to prove himself over time. He’s never had a long tenured job which scares me a little. I know executives move from job to job quite a bit but still I’d like to see he performance in a position over a longer period of time.

Jindal’s a Rhodes Scholar. Unlike Clinton, he finished his studies. He’s a very smart man! He saw the train wreck coming.

He is from Louisiana, and they don't take too kindly to that vetting stuff. Going with a presidential candidate from Louisiana is about as silly as going with a presidential candidate with a muslim name 7 years after the 9/11 attacks. Trouble is, silly don't work so good for Republicans...

Even if he wanted to run as VP he could not have served as Pres if McCain dropped dead on Jan 31, 09, he is too young. 2012 is a different story.

You can bet the house that the MSM will vet him just like they did Sarah (and didn’t vet Obama).

Jindal played it smart to stay away from McCain. I also think, however, that Palin played it smart by taking the gig. There is no way given her gender and the remoteness of
Alaska that she could have ever generated this much buzz on her own. She became a household name at no cost to her.

She was probably partly happy that she last b/c she knew that a McLame presidency would tarnish her forever. She can remake herself in 4 years.

Bobby’s a good man, but he now has an image that may be a bit too geekish and wonkish.

If he wants support from AH-nold and other “he-man” types, I guess he’d better hire a personal trainer, lift some weights, learn to do squats, and put a little meat on those thin arms and legs!

(Or would he then lose support from the single women and the other “sensitive” folks who voted for the Big 0?)

Jindal should run in 2016. Why? Hussein’s loyal cult will likely disintegrate for the most part, and dumb Americans will want to elect another non-white guy just to go along with the trend. It will be a win for sure.
