WASHINGTON (Map, News) - A Republican congressman from Georgia is calling President-elect Obama a Marxist and warning that he might be planning to form a Gestapo-like security force so he can rule as a dictator.
Two-term Rep. Paul Broun of Athens cited a July speech that has circulated on the Internet in which Obama called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.

I’d say it is just a ploy to create yet more bureaucracy and yet more government jobs which of course can be unionized, but everything this joker does and says seems to be geared towards something more nefarious.
If he does see the next phase of the civil rights movement to revolve around ‘economic justice’ and the Constitution as an impediment, well, one does wonder what’s in store for us.
I think highly illiberal times are ahead (using the old definition of liberal). An egomaniac president setting up a standing domestic army, aiming to destroy the Constitution, restrict gun ownership and ‘spread the wealth’ is not a pleasant prospect.
Poor guy. He’ll be pillaried by the MSM and mocked as a nut.
He’s 100% right, though. Too bad no one wants to listen.
This is in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. Calling them a "civilian" security force to "do the work of the military". The military is PROHIBITED from serving in this capacity.

Obama IS a Marxist, even if Joe Biden thinks saying so is a joke. Take a look at Obama’s policy positions, then look at the tenets of Marxism. They’re pretty much the same.
Just because they won’t call it Marxism doesn’t mean it’s not Marxism.
But regarding a militia and impending dictatorship... please. The fringes say that about every president in every election. I’ve heard it said about Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and GWB.
It just doesn’t happen, won’t happen, and can’t happen.
