The Politicio ^ | November 11, 2008 | Mark Penn

Barack Obama promised he would lower taxes for 95 percent of Americans and presumably raise them for the 5 percent who benefited most under President Bush’s tax policies. But, remarkably, the most affluent 5 percent supported Obama and that was perhaps the key to his victory last week.

We’ve discussed this before, but here’s an article about the topic specifically. It’s the most startling aspect of this election. At the same time, IMHO, this is the most fickle and unreliable portion of the electorate who supported Obama. They could easily bail out on him if he messes up.

I already read that the "key" was:

1. The "yoot" vote.

2. The Kollege Kiddie vote

3. The Hispanic vote

4. The "young" evangelical vote

5. The "Black" vote

6. The "intellectual" and "academia" vote

7. The Catholic vote

So which is it?

rush discussed this today.

does away with the myth that the democrats are the working people, or for the working people, meaning blue collar.

union parasites are not lower class.

why do people trust these exit poll data like its a bible?

have you ever seen a exit poll area ?
I have and the location is full of young kids and old people and alot of the welfare crowd.
Busy and productive people do not have time to fill out a 30 minute poll after waiting to vote.
How do know people just did not lie ?
How many Repub stopped versus Dems ??
This exit polls are bunk !

Now the O plans to nationalize the auto industry, soon it will be the airlines and healthcare... soon the so-called wealthy who voted for him are going to be much less enamored with him.

Proof that money makes you stupid? As if Hollywood weren’t enough proof of that.

The yoot and kollege kiddie overlap.

The Hispanic vote heavily overlaps the Catholic vote. White Catholics voted for McCain.

Blacks increased their share of the electorate from 12% in 2004 (voting 87-13 for Kerry) to 15% this year (voting 95-5 for Obama).

Intellectual & academia partially overlap the wealthy vote.

All of those came together. But, more than anything else, Bush’s unpopularity and the collapse of the financial markets is what formed Obama’s coalition.

There’s no ‘IF’ about it. Either he does the exact opposite of his campaign rhetoric, or he will completely destroy the lives of many of these people. It’s really just that simple.

I already read that the "key" was:

Those are all sub-sets of the Stupid demographic. It's OK, the culling they've called down on themselves will bring forth schadenfreude of unparalleled magnitude.

Well, what’s more important, keeping taxes lower or keeping potential competition down by controlling and dividing working class families?

The key to the sweep of The One (piss be upon him) is the fact that The Sheep are liberals, and now they are the majority.

With all due respect but..so? Morning after regrets mean nothing to him and his ilk. They've got a guaranteed berth for four years. Just keep the MSM happy and the devil take the rest. You know, like the emperors of Roman and the Praetorian guards.
