Mischief in Minnesota?

Al Franken's recount isn't funny

You'd think Democrats would be content with last week's electoral rout. But judging from the odd doings in Minnesota, some in their party wouldn't mind adding to their jackpot by stealing a Senate seat for left-wing joker Al Franken.

If I read this right the Wall Street Journal is accusing the Dems of “stealing” this election? I know we’ve been saying it and Rush has implied it but if the Journal is making that claim it has new found legitimacy.

No doubt they’re there watching the recount.

Yep, how people could elect a smearmonger is beyond me. I would be embarrassed to vote for someone like that.

I get this sneaking suspicion that the GOP and Coleman are going to sit idle and let this happen (again).....

“Yep, how people could elect a smearmonger is beyond me. I would be embarrassed to vote for someone like that.”

Agreed. Not only have MN voters gone off the deep end in their adoration for celebrities, but they’re willing to use open fraud to get them into office. Sad situation for a once-great state.

Don’t bet that Minnesotans won’t nominate the Boo-ster. That’s for sure!

I went to the website and read the entire article. It’s a very good rundown on what’s been going on. I don’t see how Coleman can win and after they’ve successfully stolen the election no one will know how it was done because the press won’t bother to investigate. The only hope might be in the courts.

John Fund of the Journal wrote a book about the danger to our democracy of election fraud. The book was published several years ago.

All the lawyers in the world won’t help you if you’re stuck infront of crooked, partisan judges.

Part of me says this will be a major embarassment to the Democrats if he gets elected. Not only is he a joke, he’s an out-of-control joke. He’ll punch someone or say something majorly stupid within the first few months. We should send freepers to his Senate office with cameras and call him a joke. He’ll freak out and embarass the Party even more. And more. And more.

Joe Biden and Al Franken. The Democratic Party will never be able to recover from this.
