Ann Coulter: GOP VOTE DECLINES LESS THAN NYT PROFIT (McCain is Bob Dole)
AnnCoulter.Com ^ | November 12. 2008 | Ann Coulter

Posted on 11/12/2008 2:40:03 PM PST by Syncro

For the first time in 32 years, Democrats got more than 50 percent of the country to vote for their candidate in a national election, and now they want to lecture the Republican Party on how to win elections. Liberal Republicans have joined them, both groups hoping no one will notice that we just lost this election by running the candidate they chose for us.

For years, New York Times columnist David Brooks has been writing mash notes to John McCain. In November 2007, he quoted an allegedly "smart-alecky" political consultant who exclaimed, in private, "You know, there's really only one great man running for president this year, and that's McCain."

"My friend's remark," Brooks somberly intoned, "had the added weight of truth."

Brooks gushed, "I can tell you there is nobody in politics remotely like him," and even threw down the gauntlet, saying: "You will never persuade me that he is not among the finest of men."

That took guts at the Times, where McCain is constantly praised by the op-ed columnists and was endorsed by the paper in the Republican primary. Even Frank Rich has hailed McCain as the "most experienced and principled" of the Republicans and said no one in either party "has more experience in matters of war than the Arizona senator" -- the biggest rave issued by Rich since "Rent" opened on Broadway.

They adored McCain at the Times! Does anyone here not see a cluster of bright red flags?

In January this year, Brooks boasted of McCain's ability to attract "independents."

And then Election Day arrived, and all the liberals who had spent years praising McCain all voted for Obama. Independents voted for Palin or voted against Obama. No one outside of McCain's immediate family was specifically voting for McCain.

But now Brooks presumes to lecture Republicans about what to do next time. How about: "Don't take David Brooks' advice"?

According to Brooks, the reason McCain lost was -- naturally -- that he ran as a conservative.

Oh the IRONY!

Isn’t it ironic that Americans voted for the man who was largely behind the mortgage “cluster” in hopes that HE can fix the economy?

I wonder if Bush didn’t want McCain to win. Starting all of the downturn talk and all.

McCain is hardly Bob Dole. Dole only received 41% of the vote in 1996. McCain got 46%. If not for the Wall Street meltdown and subsequent bailout disaster, I think it easily would have been 48% or more. Given Bush’s monumental unpopularity, Obama’s massive spending advantage, and the most biased media coverage EVER, I think McCain’s showing is actually pretty remarkable.

McCain lost because he was a deeply flawed candidate who was a self-described maverick whose campaign consisted of bashing his own party.

Darn that weird (where I live...)! McCain’s “fight with me” speech was outstanding but there was a disconnect after that, he returned to the McCain of yore. But I voted for Sarah anyway...

Let’s not forget we lost against CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, all the leftist news papers and millions and millions and millions of dollars donated to obama’s campaign.

With all that against us, I think McCain did a surprisingly good job (thanks to Palin) at fighting a fixed against him fight.

McPAIN was an Instant Replay of the Doldrums Sleepy Hollow DOLE! Its a MIRACLE given to US by Sarah Palin that WE LOST by only 6%! a virtual tie with THE MESSIACAL ZERO!! WE SHOULD HAVE BEAT THE ZERO BY 30 percentage points!...:-)
May GOD BLESS ANN COULTER AND SARAH PALIN, TWO GREAT AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McCain only got 46% because of Sarah Palin. Without her or someone like her on the ticket, he probably would have gotten only 41% or so of the vote too.

The Wall Street meltdown was engineered by the Democrats and triggered at a key time.

Bush's monumental unpopularity was was engineered by the Democrats in conjunction with the media by practicing "A big lie told often enough will be believed." For six years they pilloried Bush and the economy even during times of great performance by both.

The biased media was free campaign advertising for the Democrats for six years and the hugh amount of money was largely illegal and came through the internet right at the end when it was most needed.

You left out probably the most important factor in this victory - massive voter fraud. We only know about the large number of frauds that were found in time but there was most likely a much larger number for which votes were actually cast.

Yes, + economic meltdown + unpopular Bush-Cheney administration + the liberal pro-Obama propaganda from the MSM + dumbed-down electorate + conservative vote in the primaries split and divided between Thompson, Romney, and Huckabee.

40% of McPAIN’s Vote Tally was for Sarah Palin! the remaining 6% actually Voted for McPAIN! That, You can take to the Bank! As Donald Trump said weeks before the Election, “WE all are going to have to do everything we can do to drag McPAIN kicking and dragging and screaming across the FINISH LINE ahead of HUSSEIN in spite of his every effort to Lose!” Now hat may not be a perfect quote, but it certainly transmits his (TRUMP’S) message accurately!

:-) GOD BLESS ANN COULTER AND SARAH PALIN AND OUR REPUBLICAN PARTY AND OUR AMERICA!!!!!!

“The Wall Street meltdown was engineered by the Democrats and triggered at a key time.” ~ Mind-numbed Robot

Possible examples of some of the circumstantial evidence:

“...data from the Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll showed that Mr. Obama took command of the race during the 10 days following the collapse of Lehman Brothers — when the Wall Street meltdown hit Main Street.

Before that event John McCain was leading nationally by three percentage points. Ten days later Mr. Obama was up by five and never relinquished his lead. ...”

Sent: Friday, March 14, 2008 4:20 PM Subject: CLOSED Congress Session Last Night: Only 4th Time In 176 Years!

SPECIAL “CLOSED SESSION” OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISCUSSED A LOT MORE THAN THE PENDING SECURITY SURVEILLANCE PROVISIONS!

This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed its doors to the public. What was it that they were discussing that they do NOT want us to know about?

Word has begun leaking from last nights special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.

Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed:

1. the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,

Thanks for the additional supporting information. However, one must only do research on Communists Goals, The Frankfurt School, Saul Alinsky, Communist Party USA, etc. to see that they have been telling us all along what they were going to do and how. David Horowitz is a wonderful source of info, especially Discover the Networks.
