A high-level aide to California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer has been charged in federal court with receiving and distributing child pornography.
The aide, Jeff Rosato, 32, was arrested last Friday. Boxer's office fired him that same day, as soon as it learned about the charges.
Rosato appeared in federal court in Virginia on Wednesday and was released to home detention on condition he not interact with children or use a computer. He was not required to post any bail or bond money but was being told to undergo medical treatment.

I know this is naive on my part, but wouldn’t it be nice if the GOP starting screaming “bloody murder” on this to start painting rats for what they are. This reflects badly on Boxer, and we have more than enough examples of rats doing less than honorable things, think Barney Franks and William Jefferson.

interesting that they fired him immediately. Under normal circumstance you expect someone to be put on leave pending the outcome of the case. By firing him post haste one gets the impression that they may have known what he was dooing prior to getting caught. And they did nothing about it.

I'd be surprised. There's nothing to be gained by knowingly keeping a kiddie-porn collector on your staff, and a lot to lose. From a purely pragmatic point of view, any politician is going to fire a guy like this as soon as they find out his predilictions.
Maybe this is why Hillary's brother wasn't paying her daughter child support? Worth investigating in more depth to see what the Boxer women are really into with those young children.

——well, it’s already been done for years, by now, let’s just take Ann Coulter as one example. I agree 100%, but if Republicans don’t do anything, then why fight for the party. Besides, the MSM will tar us with racism and hate if we complain at all. So why not go for it?
I don’t expect any politician or employer to be able to tell if they have an employee doing something illegal unless the employee is doing it openly. I’m sure that guys like this exist on both sides of the aisle.

I do NOT give the media credit for accurate reporting. They describe him as “Fired Boxer aide” which makes it sound as if he’d worked for Boxer long ago. A more accurate headline would be something like “Boxer aide fired for...” which makes it clear that he was her employee at the time it was discovered.

When the repubie in Florida had the problem two years ago. I was told by a person, who used to be in the travel agency business about the Gay Predator Perverts in the Bay area, scheduling trips to Mexico, South America and SE Asia for homosexual sex with very young males. This person said many gay staff members on Boxer, Pelosi, Fineswine and Newsome’s staff were regular customers on these perverted trips.
