Petition of Appreciation to Governor Sarah Palin

Dear Governor Palin:

We the undersigned thank you for your service to our country and your service to the cause of freedom.

The American people have been searching for new leaders who share our hopes and values and who have the courage to stand up for what is right. In you, we have found such a leader.

By your eloquence and your example, you have inspired us to keep fighting for a better future for our nation, for our children, and for the children of the world.

We urge you to continue the struggle on behalf of working people and small business people – of regular Americans who are excluded from the privileged elite – and of all those who, come January, will be largely unrepresented in the halls of power.

As you stand with us, we will stand with you. http://pmcms.conservativehq.com/active-petitions/appreciationtosarahpalin111208/

I would love to sign this letter to Mrs. Palin, but It would require information I would rather not give out. Not to mention:

By signing this petition, I understand that I will receive poll and petition results, news alerts, free reports, and special offers from ConservativeHQ.com and its affiliates by email and understand that I may unsubscribe at any time.

Sounds like another mailing list I would be on … enough already; I don’t need more crap in my inbox.

Other than the few newbies that forced McCain down our throats, I think this site is near-unanimous in its support for Palin.

Don’t want to get the first one. I have “clicked” on many unsubscribe buttons (in my early days on the internet) and received a multitude of other opportunities to unsubscribe.

Sarah Palin is the 1st living elected official that I have ever become aware of that I have no conflict with.

The woman is simply awesome.

I’m with you. I was actually loading the page in another tab when I saw your post. Forget it. I’m on enough mailing lists as it is - some I even want to be on. ;-)

How about something a little more stunningly visual? Like sending her a THANK YOU CARD. It would be like the court room scene of Miracle of 34th Street, where the Post Office dumps thousands of letters onto her desk.

50 years from now, her grandchildren can read them. That's a thought!

I know what you mean. For years now, I’ve had my fill of plastic politicians who speak a good line but invariably morph into the mushy-middle ‘establishment’ and forget their mid-american roots. I’ve been burned more than once, and just wanted to give up. But along comes Sarah, whose political and cultural views really mirror my own, moreso than anyone in ages. I’m downright thrilled to finally have someone to support, after such a long, long dry-spell. Haven’t felt this way since Reagan, quite frankly.

My family was big on cards. My grandma, who passed recently, kept cards for years. Mom's going through all of them now, and keeping ones that she thinks we might find interesting from a historical perspective.

Sorry, TTJ, just realized I capped out in the last post. Didn't mean to "shout" at you.

Have a wonderful week!

Right back at you! Thanks for the ideal of sending Palin a card, she deserves it after the bs treatment the press did her.
