Obama camp: Lawsuits by citizens are 'garbage'
World Net Daily ^ | 11-13-2008 | Chelsea Schilling

More than a half-dozen legal challenges have been filed in federal and state courts demanding President-elect Barack Obama's decertification from ballots or seeking to halt elector meetings, claiming he has failed to prove his U.S. citizenship status. An Obama campaign spokeswoman told WND the complaints are unfounded. "All I can tell you is that it is just pure garbage," she said. "There have been several lawsuits, but they have been dismissed." WND is tracking the progress of many cases across the U.S., including the following: Ohio David M. Neal of Turtlecreek Township, Ohio, filed suit in Warren Common Pleas Court in October to force Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. Warren County Magistrate Andrew Hasselbach denied Neal's

The real “garbage” (to put it nicely) is any “public servant” who refuses to provide documentary evidence of his/her eligibility for office.

Especially one who will have access to a nation’s deepest secrets.

What kind of “man” are you Obama, that you’re too cowardly to show us your birth certificate? Hiding something perhaps?

Just show the real certificate of birth...

Is it so difficult?

I had to show one to get my expired driver’s license renewed. Is it too much to ask of an incoming president elect?

Hell, with all of the money he has, one would think it would be all-too-easy to have a convincing forgery made. I would have thought they would have done that months ago just to have it behind them.

Its over. The burden of proof is on us and a legion of opposition researchers, internet gumshoes, bloggers, reporters, etc haven’t turned up a thing to give legs to this controversy. So long as Hawaii says he is legit and we cannot prove otherwise then nothing is coming of this. I personally do not think that someone could get to this point with something so fundamental and so hard to hide in their background. The number of people who would have to be involved in covering up an issue as basic as citizenship is very high indeed.

I think this hip hop elitist that just won the election looks at ALL citizens as "GARBAGE". He's just got that sway and swaggar about him that says, "Piss on you" when he looks at you.

You don't have to be a "people reader" to tell he has contempt for all things that don't worship him, and that his "presidency" is all about the title and the ego...he could care less about the country.

That's a dangerous trait in a "leader", as decisions will be made based on feelings, mood swings, and convenience more than action judgement, fairness, and morals.

The fact that he doesn't eagerly reveal this document as the new president to shut this down tells us that he is either ineligible to hold office or he is the son of an American black communist of one sort or another.

Either way, it will expose him as a fraud.

Come clean, Obama. You want us to respect you as president? Come clean.

I don’t get this, at all. Heck I was born in MN and would gladly provide proof. No problem. If he really was born in Hawaii, where’s the birth certificate? If these lawsuits are ‘garbage’, then prove it once and for all.

It is not over and HE has the burden of proof to show he is eligible. This cat and mouse with the Constitution and the people only weakens an already pathetically weak president.

If you thought the howling during Clinton was intense, just wait. Democrats can only elect the pathetic.

Be a man, little boy... show us your birth certificate.

Anyone heard anything about the Writ of Quo Warranto filed in California on Oct. 31st? My understanding is that it requires the person holding office to prove that they have a right to it and all citizens have standing... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2121007/posts

When these*ssholes crash, they crash hard. We may witness the nervous breakdown of a president in office. The look on his face during the victory speech said it all.

Dog catches car...

I agree - forget Obama’s camp, most reasonable Freepers think these lawsuits are garbage.

Let’s just cut to the chase.

Line us all up, take our guns and ammo, send our children to re-education camps, empty our bank accounts, steal our retirement income, take all the food off the shelves of the grocery stores, remove all the books from the libraries, close all the churches . . . .

And Michelle can yell “Let Them Eat Cake.”

He thinks he’s some freakin’ king or caliph or god and that we, the ‘little people’ are his chattle.

Even his “spokesperson” has her snotty nose in the air. It’s garbage translates to you are not important and anything you do is not important, so hand over your money.

I’m starting a slow simmer towards actually disliking Barry whats’his’name.

I once read a quote that was suppose to be out of one of his books, something to the effect that he said he wanted to become President someday but he knew he would have to lose his birth certificate. I tried to find the quote again on the net but the page has been erased. Does anyone else know about the quote or have access to it?

Hawaii didn’t say it was a legit birth certificate that showed he was born in Hawaii. They have a record of live birth on file but it could have been filed after his Mother return to Hawaii. No one knows where he was born or who the father was because he has no intention of revealing his birth certificate. WHY?
