Prosecuting High-level Americans for War Crimes

On September 13-14, 2008, over two hundred people from the United States and abroad gathered in Andover. Massachusetts for ... Conference on the Planning for Prosecution of High Level American War Criminals...

Impeachment of Bush-Cheney

... the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney was very much on the table ...

Local, state and federal criminal prosecution

...the Brattleboro, Vermont, ordinance that calls for the arrest on sight of Bush and/or Cheney...

One particular scenario ... was to charge Bush and Cheney with murder of U.S. soldiers who have died in the Iraq and Afghanistan war under state law. ...

examined the possibilities for such criminal prosecution in state court. ...

Charlotte Dennett, advised that if she were elected she would consider opening state murder prosecutions against Bush and Cheney.

One strategy ... having hundreds of local DA's of the 2700 in the United States start those prosecutions in municipal courts. These state criminal prosecutions would put pressure or make it easier for a federal district attorney ... including such crimes as obstruction of justice, criminal use of classified documents, etc and the other crimes that typically catch high-level civilians was encouraged in an effort to find ways to vindicate international law rules through the domestic courts.

... common law courts... was examined as a means to turn revisionist international law theory to the advantage of those seeking prosecution... The Federal Assimilated Crimes Acts could also make federal charges on customary international law grounds...

State licensing complaints

Complaints to state licensing authorities for psychologists and lawyers were examined ... to sanction those who are considered to have broken the law and betrayed their professional oaths

The Left is ungracious even in the throes of victory.

I agree. The anti-America crowd infesting this country really made it tough for our military to fight the WOT.

“The use of common law courts in places, such as Florida, was examined as a means to turn revisionist international law theory to the advantage of those seeking prosecution by asserting customary international humanitarian and human rights law violations as common law applicable in state courts prosecutions. “

No wonder Ive been under the impression that recent Supreme Court majority decisions were been written by Borat. The “judicial precedent” could actually have originated in Khazakstan.

This would cripple our efforts in the war on terrorism and greatly divide the American people.

The plan of the Obama Nation is to end any war on Islamic or Marxist terrorism and "unite" the American people in much the same way the Vietnamese were united after 1975.

Ya know,, what goes around comes around. I think some very strong cases could be made for treason against nearly every Democrat leader in the nation, and a whole host of newspapers and news anchors.
So,, lets just tear ourselves apart.
These people are dangerous.

If they are going to have a War Crimes Tribunal, they should start with indicting Bill Clinton and Wesley Clark for the 1999 Bombing of Yugoslavia. It would only be fair since these are the ones who resurrected this “International War Crimes” BS again!

CW II Ping !! The Omabunists are seriously over-reaching if they try something like this. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. Any attempts to perform a citizens arrest on Bush may well result in serious injury or death of the arresting moonbat. The Secret Service don’t mess around.

At some point over the past few months I read a direct quote that Obama has every intention of putting the US in the International Criminal Court of Justice. That could very well be the flashpoint that triggers a Civil War in this country.

Benjamin G. Davis, the author, is a tenured academic Marxist Dresden-school wrecker and destroyer whose primary interests, outside his teaching area, are attending and supporting Stalinist-front National Lawyers Guild mock trials and other similar circuses and attacking ICANN in academic papers and pushing alternative online dispute resolution schemes in competition with ICANN.

His overarching interest seems to be the destruction of the United States and the subjugation of its people by Marxist-Leninist international organs.

Anything that would serve to help defend the People, he is against; anything that could serve as a "tool" of the U.S. Government, he decries; and he volubly insists that the most senior officers of the United States Government should be put on trial before an international kangaroo court of Leftists.

His University of Toledo bio page, with links, is here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar%27s_civil_war#The_political.2Fmilitary_situation_preceding_the_war

After the First Triumvirate ended, the senate supported Pompey, who became sole consul in 52 BC. Meanwhile, Caesar had become a military hero as well as a champion of the people. The senate feared him and wanted him to give up his army, knowing that he hoped to be consul when his term in Gaul expired. In December 50 BC, Caesar wrote to the senate saying that he would give up his army if Pompey would give up his. The senate heard the letter with fury and demanded that Caesar disband his army at once or be declared an enemy of the people—an illegal bill, for Caesar was entitled to keep his army until his term was up. Another reason for Caesar's immediate want for another consulship was to delay his inevitable senatorial prosecutions waiting for him after retirement of his position. The potential prosecutions were based on irregularities related to his term as consul and loose accusations of war crimes throughout his campaigns in Gaul.

Been paying attention. Reminds me of South Carolina in 1860

Illinois must breed something into candidates that causes the Union to dissolve, only this time the pretender from Illinois is an illegal alien and not qualified to be POTUS.

I’d like to see some hayseed Vermont sherif drawn down on GW or Cheney and try to arrest them. The Secret Service’s answer would be Bang! One dead sheriff.

Reference your post # 7.

In the communists a/k/a Democrats view those are murderers. They are “freedom fighters”.

WE are the murderers. Republicans, even “Country Club Republicans” are also included.

They are going to indict President Bush on some type “war crimes” or “crimes aginst the people” charges.

It may not be right. It may have never been done before. The inmates, thanks to the “American” voters are now running the asslym.

While Power is not always right, Power is always Power and those in Power do as they please.
