Funny you should mention them. I have been looking for an evangelical church that believes the Lord is coming, literally, and soon. I was raised Lutheran, went back to my church and found them way too “conformist”. I contacted an evangelical Lutheran church, spoke with the Pastor, well, interviewed him and asked about Jesus coming back to rule. His answer? Same as my old church....He rules in Heaven, will not rule on earth.

Other than the Roman Catholic Church, no major denomination supported Prop. 8 other than the Mormons. Mormonism is not popular with non-Mormons--and is not regarded as Christian by Christian theologians....hence, dumping on Mormonism (instead of Roman Catholicism) is an easy, coward's target...
