In a statement, the Zionist Freedom Alliance said “we call on state officials, the President of the University of California, the Chancellor, the Dean of Students, faculty, and the student body to take a unified stand against the continued harassment of Jewish and pro-Israel students on this campus" Arab students disrupted a pro-Israel event at the campus of the University of California at Berkeley Thursday night, unfurling a large Palestinian flag in front of a crowd of hundreds of supporters of Israel who were enjoying a pro-Israel hip-hop concert. The event was sponsored by the Zionist Freedom Alliance student group.
The Arab students unfurled the large flag on a balcony above the outdoor site where the concert was taking place, inciting a provocation right in front of the concert-goers, who were enjoying the event as part of the campus' Israel Liberation Week. Several Jewish concertgoers went into the building to ask the Arabs to remove the flag – but were viciously attacked, with one male concertgoer knocked down from a blow on the back of his head, witnesses said.
College alumnus Gabe Weiner, who was helping run the concert, was assaulted by the leader of the anti-Israel group, Husam Zakharia, who also attacked one of the performers, Yehuda De Sa. The fight was finally broken up

At least for the ‘American Jews’ but I read that the statistics on the votes coming out of Israel (Jews with Dual citizenship? absentee ballot?) were a mirror image to their counterparts here in the US. Appx that many voted for McCain (78%). They see the danger they are in. It’s all so mind boggling to me.

Try to imagine the official reaction if anything similar were done to an event for one of the “politically correct” groups of the psycho-left.... there would be public apologies and groveling from all of the top university officials, expulsions, etc.

I think that when I get back to the US I will find out if there is a mosque near where I live. If so I will go inside and check it out. If they give me a problem I will just tell them that I want to learn more about islam. If I can I will smuggle in a camera or recording device. I can get someone to translate arabic after I leave. I wonder if they will even allow me in? Of course I have no problem with washing my feet.

Not a single relative of mine voted for McCain - I'm something of the black-sheep (oops! Racist!) of my family. I like motorcycles, guns, and I LOVE the Constitution of the USA and the ideals for which it stands. I'm also the only one in my entire family who can actually express why I voted the way I did.
The funny thing is that every time I hear a family member complain about something, I say, "well, you know Obama is for that." They look surprised, then say, "well, I'm going to vote for him anyway. He doesn't really mean it." Talk about self delusion. I've tried to remind them that in the 1930s people said the same thing about Adolf Hitler. No, I'm not comparing Obama to Hitler. It's just that Hitler actually wrote down his plans and published them, and people the world over said, "no, he doesn't really mean it." Obama has said that he intends to do a number of things, yet people don't believe him.
