That is correct. McCain flew a Douglas A4 Skyhawk. I have doubts that an air defense officer would confuse an F4 and an A4.

However, Trushyekin, currently in a hospital in Russia's second city of St. Petersburg, had no qualms about speaking about his time in the jungles of Southeast Asia.

My father said that we regularly overheard Russian technicians in Vietnam manning their missile sites.
